Hello everyone one hope we all doing well.
Today I will like to share with you guys something
on sex education. I saw a situation today in a primary school where. Nursing school pupils where kissing in class and their teacher got them well beaten also in other class pupils have been seen touching body parts in school .
In the case of the nursing kids when ask were they saw that the boy response was that I saw it on TV .
This got me confuse is it that we don’t have sex education at school and do parents not talk to children about sex education or we are not just doing enough.

What is sex education ?

Sex education is knowledge on body development, sex , communication, decision toward sex and sexual health ( puberty, reproduction, abstinence, contraception), relationship and sexual violence prevention just to name a few which is very important to start teaching children at a very young age so that they will be able to make decisions that will impact their wellbeing .

Many children in Cameroon will not open up to any one on any thing that happen to them for example sexual abuse because they are afraid if I talk I will be killed or the child once said something in the house and was well beaten .
Parents are suppose to be the front line in sex education but that not the case here

facts about sex education

• it helps in decision making towards sexual health

• helps delay children going in for sex at an early age

• educate children on early pregnancy and STD and the damages it will bring to you at that young age

• help in communication among friends, parents and siblings

• helps academically because abstinence has shown great success academically that students who are sexually active

• help in teaching you what to do in a case of abuse

• give advice to senior youth who want to go in for relationships

• reduces the number of sex partners one should have by give them the risk involved

Please let all try to work towards tell the young one about sex education because with the fast developing nature of the world now bad things are easier to be copied by kids so tell them more about what they are expose to will help them understand and they will have a great life style
