The diary game; A witness to Pidgin Sunday (18/8/2024)

Hello beautiful members of Steem Cameroon, I am bringing you by experience of witnessing pidgin Sunday in my church. Normally, the third Sunday is usually for youths, so this Sunday was titled pidgin Sunday and everything was handled by the youths. I wish I can even narrate it in pidgin, but I think I'll be explaining some things in pidgin, so have fun reading it.

When I woke up early, I didn't want to be late for church so I had my bath and left. The first thing was the workers meeting but the youth that took it did not use pidgin. After the workers meeting, we had Sunday school and then the main service began. This was the fun part where the pidgin started. It was funny because some youths while taking a part on some things got stuck as they didn't know how to say a particular thing in pidgin. The prayers and testimony was in pidgin, same with other parts of the service, even the preaching.

The word of God came last and it was in pidgin language. The title was Heaven's Highway.
The summary of it was that the way de narrow. Jesus na the only way wey you fit use enter dat highway. John 14:6. .Dis highway been dey created wen Jesus come die for us. God wan mek all of us use dis highway. John 3: 16. Trials dey on this highway but God na I'm de give strength.

When I got back from church, I made garri and ate with our local soup, editan soup and thereafter slept, when I woke up, I decided to jot some notes on what I was gonna teach the following day in summer lesson.
