Cameroon is known Africa in miniature given the rich cultural and economic resources in the the country. It is the stronghold of CEMAC and located between two Africas; Central and West Africa. Cameroon is filled with several beautiful cities that tourists from all over the world flow in to visit every year. Have you been thinking about a cool Cameroonian city to spend some time with loved ones and friends? Below I present to you the top 10 beautiful cities in Cameroon

1 Limbe.
Limbe, also known as the city of cleanliness and city of friendship is the most beautiful city in Cameroon based on our criteria. The city harbors a beautiful beach, a petrol refinery, a fishery, and an ocean view that make-up an excellent touristic city in Cameroon. Limbe is equally known and respected for her cleanliness and friendship. They have a nice culture and organize yearly festivals that pull up thousands of people as visitors.

2 Douala
Douala is the economic capital of Cameroon and was the Political capital of German Kamerun. What makes Douala so beautiful is the many facilities in the city like; the Douala international air port, the Douala sea port, the multi-purpose commercial mall, the Bonaberi bride, the level landscape and lots more. If you are thinking of where to spend your next vacation, I recommend Douala to you.

3 Yaounde
Cameroon’s Political capital is one of the most beautiful cities in Cameroon. Apart from the administrative Importance of the city, we have the Nsimalen international airport and many decorative areas in Yaounde which makes it a place to visit.

4 Kribi
Kribi is located in the south region of Cameroon and opens to the sea. It is also known as Cameroon reveira because most tourists will always come back after visiting for the first time. It has a beautiful beach, and an embodiment of cool structures that makes the city a beautiful one. Visit Kribi and you will not regret doing so.

5 Buea
Some people call it the legendary town of friendship; a place to be. Buea is the capital the South West region, it was also the capital of British Cameroon and has remained a city of administrative Importance. The mount fako, the fresh mountainous climate and a beautiful University area makes Buea one of the most beautiful and cool places to visit in Cameroon. Visit Buea and thank me later.

6 Bamenda
Have you heard aboutAbakwa? Bamenda is a very friendly town and it is the capital of the North West region of Cameroon. Do you want to to visit a place where the people enjoy and are so glue to their cultural values? Do you want to enjoy meals like achu and fudu in all their dimensions? Bamenda is the place I will recommend for you to get these dishes from the source.

7 Kumba
Known by many as K-town allias green city, some people only know Kumba for the rough nature of youths from the city, however Kumba is also a very beautiful city to be. Kumba is the commercial center for cocoa, rubber, timber etc. Also, sites like lake Barombi, Bakundu forest reserve and the famous Kumba water makes it the next town for you to visit.

8 Bafussam
The capital city of the west region is falls among our list of beautiful cities in Cameroon. In terms commerse and economic activities, Bafussam is the third most important city in Cameroon after Douala and Yaounde. Visit Bafussam and have a taste of nightlife at athe Akwa neighborhood, walk down to March A and Marche B and pick a variety of stuffs at really good prices.

9 Dschang
Dschang is the capital of the Menoua division, West region of Cameroon. It hosts a state University (University of Dschang), and also have some beautiful features, the municipal lake, the mamy wata water fall, the Nsem-tsa water fall all are places you should visit. While in Dschang, remember to enjoy delicious and affordable pork. They call it Kuna.

10 Maroua
Let me take you to the North. Maroua is a beautiful city located between the ferngo and kaliao rivers. Maroua is arguably the greenest city in the world and it has many features that spices her beauty. The mandara mountain, the University of Maroua and the Maroua solak airport all make Maroua a place you should aim at in the North.
