Steem Cameroon Best Day Contest-30th may 2024

Greetings great Steem Cameroon, I really do appreciate this community for always making available this particular contest topic for us bloggers to participate. Best day is one of this important moment in your life in a week that really created much impact and stories to share, I will be sharing my best day with you all.

Family is the first form of socialization and it can be defined as a group of people who are related by blood. My family is this one big family that live happily not minding the economy tends to shake us most times, my father plays an important role in our life being the head of the family and guiding us through right part.

As a kid, I was so close to my mom because I rarely see my dad because of his type of work. My dad goes out very early and comes in so late and by that time I will be asleep. this particular routine continued for long and this alone made me feel safe around my mom, I share most of happening and occurences with mom because I feel so free chatting with her. Growing up as a teen my dad changed his job to one we see him almost everytime at home, it was so hard for me to relate with him and he was a disciplinary. One that flogs us when we are wrong most times.
I feel unsafe around him and do alot of mistakes when he's close because how he was. I got to understand him more and more as time goes on, I saw a different part of his actions and reasons why he brought such into the system.

My dad was actually caring, lovely and funny most times. Knowing and understanding him was like a mission accomplished to me because it wasn't actually easy for me to cope when he's around.
Understanding him more didn't solve everything because he doesn't really indulge much in some playful acts so I get really close to mom because she's free with all fun we do. She takes pictures with us, sitout and have other fun while my dad counters most of it like posting him on social media.

I didn't try convincing him to give it a try even once, on this very day when he wanted going out to the bank. My mother and siblings tried convincing him for just a picture of him, he didn't actually agree at first but with much persuasion he agreed to take pictures with us.

I rushed out with my smartphone to capture this moment, he felt so much joy during this session. I was truly happy because have always wanted to share his pictures on my timeline.

Things get so simple and fun when your parent live happy with everyone at home. I felt much joy this particular day because it was a day wished for and a mission accomplished.
