Non communicable disease are disease that can't be passed from one person to another, there not contagious which can't be passed through air, water or body contact to another. Some examples of non communicable disease are asthma, cancer, diabetes and hypertension which in no where can be passed to another. Depression tends to affect the mental health changing how an individual act, behaves and think. Here negative changes such as being moody, rude and attempt of hurting oneself comes into play. Have suffered depression as I was growing in my secondary education where payment of was tough for my parents. I tried not to feel depressed and moody about the situation but I couldn't hold that strong, sometimes I see myself talking to my own self and the zeal to achieve something was dying gradually too. I stayed back from school for many weeks lacking the basic lectures and this put me into asking myself unnecessary questions.

How did you manage the situation

In every problem there must be a solution, I believed in God that my needs will be catered for in due time not withstanding the level of depression I found myself in. I got myself into quality sleep and listening to music that keeps me active throughout the day, it was hard but possible. I later got my school fees paid for.

Depression actually changes one character, might even turn them to rude and dangerous. Your story of not being able to afford school fees is really sad. It is hard for most of us we just have to keep hoping for the best
