Hi, world! I am very delighted to show my participation in the above lively and educative contest topic. A special thanks go to the steemit platform for the initiative of the engagement challenge, and thanks to the community of steem Cameroon for such an educative topic that would clear our minds and understanding of the concept of equality. So friends, keep reading down to the end of the post to know my ideas and opinion on the contest topic.

Gender simply refers to the sex of a being and the only two existing genders ae the female and the male either of these, human or living thing must belong to one of them. Gender equality simply talks about how these two genders are been treated equally in society and wherever at all, we all have our nation's fundamental rights and everyone is entitled to these rights irrespective of gender.

How can you help your community build a gender-equal world?

Sincerely, this seems very hard but it is very possible to make people around understand the concept and the need of treating all genders equally. There are so many sensitive ways in which we can help to communicate the understanding of gender equality such as training, seminars, and so many other gatherings that would seem official that can drive them all to listen and be educated. I have always believed that education is power and development because when one is educated and has a simple understanding of a term, it would go a long way.

Can celebrate International Women's Day increase visibility and equality?

It's so exciting that women's day is fast approaching. The celebration of international women's day would not necessarily increase the visibility and equality of the subject matter here, it might only remind the wonen, a reminder without a sense of simple understanding is not a progress. Women have gone through a lot in the spaces and the celebration would be as the celebration of the victory of the struggles in the year past so, the special day set aside for such remebrance is just a day but It might not change any equality without our total understanding towards gender equality.

Are the fight for Feminism and the fight for Women's Rights the same?

Yes, it is. The fight for women and feminism is to do away with the following factors; gender difference, inequality itself, problems that demand urgent solutions, and also to do away with every form of harassment. For any fight, there would always be a defense, and must somehow somewhere be supported. Most times, the ideology of different people causes drastic problems in society and instead of fighting for the truth, other factors come and change our initial mindset for a particular fight.

What do you say about women in the highest positions like presidents, parliamentarians, senators, CEOs (CEOs), and COOs (Directors of Operations)? Give possible examples in your country (community)

So many women are very good and sound, so inspiring and knowledge filled, they were able to attain some levels of positions in the country, especially in politics, in art sectors, finance sectors, and both private and public sectors.

In my country Nigeria, women are gladly been given opportunities to rule which I am very glad about because a woman would always be on the watch for whatever she does, I too do well and that is why gender inequality must be washed out from our minds. A man can rule as well women and by that the world would be a better place. In my country, there are a few women I know in positions which I know they are more than this number; Senator Patricia Akwashiki, Her excellences Mary Labaran, Director of Ministry of Agriculture, Mrs. Ayafa Victoria, and some others.

What makes a good leader (gender or merit)

What makes a good leader is merit and not gender. Look, whosoever that is capable of effectively working hard in a particular position should be given a chance to rule because it is supposed to be by merit. A man or a woman who is capable and who merits a position or leadership should be given.

In conclusion friends, it's quite unfortunate that the world are full of people who only love themselves and assume leadership is about gender and that is the reason the world is not becoming better as it should but with an understanding of gender equality, the world will be better.

Hola amiga que gran publicación ojala y todos pensaran igual que usted, el mundo seria mucho mejor no solo hablo con respecto al derecho de las mujeres, si no que todos en igualdad de condiciones y con los mismos derechos podríamos vivir con mucha armonía, hoy día existen muchos cargos importantísimos que son ocupados por as mujeres lo cual da a entender que estamos avanzando mas sin embargo todavía falta mucho para que todos tengamos los mismos derechos de ocupar un cargo importante sin tomar en cuenta si somos mujeres o hombres, solo se debe tomar en cuenta si esa persona esta muy bien preparada para merecer ocupar un puesto importante
