THE DIARY GAME: 20/12/2021
Hi there steemit. I'm so exited to share with you one of my favorite moments of the week.
One of the things I love doing is traveling actually. So we left for Douala at about 9am. I was so excited to go to Douala after a long time. The last time I went, it was a night journey. We were 5 of us in my boss's car. So when we left home, we first of all went to his office at the Baptist center to collect a few stuffs. Our mission to Douala was mainly to:
Install GPS on some vehicles
Go to Yaounde from there and Network a building
Install some speakers at CBC Resource Center in Yaounde
So what we went to take at the office was some network tools. Then we started our journey. We passed through up station and filled the tank at Tradex using a receipt so we didn't actually pay in cash. Then we left. Then we stopped after Dschang road and took some pictures. Then my boss called someone who always does goat meat from him along the way. So when we reached there, we had goat meat for everyone in the car. I was surprised that we arrived Douala at about 3pm. When we arrived, we first went to a garage to check some to change the brake lining of the cars. So while the brake pads were being changed, we went to a store and had some cool drinks. Then we went to the hotel where my boss was going to sleep and saw him off then left for where we would spend the night. I was so excited to be in Douala again after 3 years. So the next day, we wokeup and had a relaxing day. Then we later went to where my boss was lodging and gave him food then went back home. Our planned worked in Douala didn't work out so the next Day, we went to Yaounde. On our way, we were using the GPS and we missed the road😂. We instead passed through Douala Airport and I said anyhow, opportunity to take some shots. Though it was rainy I just had to take the ones I could take.
We arrived in 4hours. I saw a stadium from afar then decided to take a Photo of it.
Then we immediately went to CBC Resource Center at Mvan. The funniest thing is that our whole time in both Yaounde and Douala, we knew no place actually. We used just GPS. So we went to that CBC Resource Center to install some speakers. It was my first day to enter lift but I was just as if I wasn't excited 😅
I really wish I could post a lot of pictures here but we have been limited 😭. So we went into the hall just to install a few speakers and it was successful.
So after that, we went to Etugebe Baptist Church and went to a certain restaurant around and had some food to eat. On the menu was achu and waterfufu and eru. I decided not to eat because I had already eaten bread and chicken and fried plantains in the car. When I eat those fries and drink something, I don't feel hungry again. So the others ate but I just had something to eat. There after, we went to Bastos. We had a certain contract at the full Gospel to wire network at one of their buildings so we just went for a little site visit. There after, we went to Patmos Baptist church. Their church is under construction 🏗️. And the contract to wire the sound of the church so we went for site visit. From there, Saker and I went to a quarter called Awai. I don't know the spelling though. We spent almost 2 hours in traffic. I slept until. Then we finally reached home, freshened up and and had rest. Thanks for reading..
