World radio day is a annual celebration day which is celebrated on the 13 February every year for raise the importance of Radio in this year the 12 edition on 13 february this day was decided by the the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in 2011 when the 36th conference was held by the all members.

This day is celebrated by the request of Spanish Radio Acedemy in the month of september 2020 and they requested to the (UNESCO) to add the World Radio Day in the yearly calendar to raise the importance of Radio we all know that in these days we use the radio in very short it's important to raise awareness about Radio.

Radio is the name of significance medium which is used over the century and plays the important role to give information and entertainment to the people some people are not like this medium so the aim of this day aware those people about it's importance it's play very crucial role to promote the culture and diversity in the time of World war 2 it's played very important role to deliver the news around the world.

The theme of world radio day is aware the people about radio and it's importance in our life and moreover tell the people how it delivered the newd in the past and how it's used in the previous century in 2023 the theme of world radio day is Radio and Diversity the aim of this theme to promote the diversity and cohesion and aslo sure that radio programming reflects the community and people also get its services for these services a committee was established in 2012 by the UNESCO to sure that everyone is satisfied from this service digital media reduces the importance of radio in 21 century.

Now here we discuss about some major points that we should on this day so let's see the below;

• We should promote the Radio on social media and posted much banner on our facebook.

• We should listen the radio in different languages and learn any language.

• We should also participate in the radio interview and give importance to the radio.

• We should create the much radio content in different websites like steemit.

• We should give attention to made the radio station in our country give opportunity to learn about radio.
