What do you know about the day?

On 11 February, World Day of Sick people is Celebrated. On this date World sick day is celebrated all over World. This day is dedicated to remembering and praying for all the people who are suffering from physical and mental illnesses, as well as those who care for them. This day is dedicated for ill people.

This day was introduced by Pope John Paul II, to dedicate this day for the ill people and the person who cure from diseases or ill conditions.

Today is the day of World Sick day and I will pray to Allah for sick people and May Allah keep all of us safe and fine from all type of diseases.

How do you or your country or your organization celebrate the day?

Well this day is a best day to celebrate it for ill people and it is a day for humanity but as the truth is most of the people don't know about this day and in my country it is not celebrated on big level.

But the people who have the knowledge about this day and have pain for humanity perform some relegious activities and pray to God for the well being of ill people and pray for this health.

I celebrated this day by praying for ill people and I also aim to help humanity when I will become doctor.

What impact does your community gain during and after the commemoration?

As I told earlier this day is not celebrated at big level in our country or community, even most of the people don't have adequate knowledge about this day.

But the people who know this day and have knowledge and pain for humanity, celebrate this day. I gain from this day to help humanity and feel the pain of needy person especially physically or mentally ill people.

I wish Allah will give them good health so they can enjoy thier lives.

11 February is a day for Sick people, It is a day to celebrate for the people who are ill or sick and can't enjoy thier lives as we are, on this day we should pray for them and help them if they need financial support.
