Creating awareness of the clinical laboratory
Hello to all my fellow steemians,trust you are doing good,I feel really happy because this week, beginning from the 23rd of April to the 30th, is celebrated as international biomedical laboratory day
It gladens my heart to say I am a proud member of a clinical laboratory.working in the hospital is good and important, doing what you do with passion and empathy gives me great satisfaction.
The Laboratory is a very important unit in the hospital setting because 70% of medical decisions, depends on the findings from the laboratory, without the laboratory, the most diagnosis will be of guessing.
The laboratory works with other departments like the imaging and nurses, to ease work for the physicians.
Laboratory staff do everything to ensure that the patients get timely, quality and reliable results.

We/I wanna create awareness of the importance of the laboratory... treatments can't be given from mare signs and symptoms,you need the lab to confirm your suspicions inorder for the patient to get the care he/she deserves
As laboratory personnel, it's our place to welcome, orientate and attend to our patients with love and patience and most importantly maintain CONFIDENTIALITY.
We also appreciate the administrations, donating organisation and communities for their various support
