Avoiding Plagiarism By Properly Citing Your Image
Hello ๐ great steemians, trusting you all are doing great. Today I have found something interesting which I believe it may help all of us grow as great steemians because I have always been going through various posts that are trooping within this our great Community but have noticed some few challenges faced by many of us especially in the aspect of sitting our image source Properly and obtaining a copyright-free image. So I have come up with a solution to this which will help us grow by avoiding such mistakes. So I will show you all how to properly cite an image from a copyright-free images and how you can cite them. I will also recommend you guys some free sites where you can obtain a copyright-free image without necessarily going through Google.
We all need to know that images are the best way to present our Contents as it always gives us a visual support to help portray what exactly we are writing, but it may become dangerous if we don't take the image from a copyright-free image site since some of the images are copyright images meaning that we have to pay or beg for permission from the owner of the image which is very difficult.
How to choose an image from a copyright-free site
When you go to Google and search for any image of your choice, the next thing is to cite and download it from a copyright-free image site which I'm going to show you below๐
After visiting www.google.com, I decided to Search for Bitcoin then Click on image as you can see below ๐
Okay now, I decided to enter one of the images and found out that it may be subject to copyright image. I can't download it because it may be subject to copyright and it will be a criminal offense if I download and find out it's a copyright-image
I came out then click on the icon you see below then scroll to my left and click on usage right
After I then choose the option Creative commons licenses
All the images you see here are now copyright-free images and I can download them and use
When ever you enter any of the images, you will see all the license details meaning it's a free image. As you can see below, I entered and they showed me all the license details of the image
Let me show you how to cite the image
Once you choose your, image and download it, you will need to upload the image inside the content you are writing or better still just do copy and paste. After doing that, you now need to insert the link of the image right beneath your image by using this command below
[source](link to the image source)Or you can prefer to center your source link by using this command below ๐
<center>[source](link to the image source)</center>if I want to center the image source, this will be my outcome ๐
Or you can better go directly to this free websites where all the images there are already copyright-free images
After going through all this I hope we have grab something from there? We Steem on as I'm hoping to see this @steem-cameroon reach a high level as we all should try to avoid some of this common mistakes. I think this Content may help both new and veteran steemians

Hahaha you know ignorant is also regarded as a crime right?? I too use to download any image I see in google untill I finally realized that it is really a crime because most of the images there in Google are copyright images.
