Introduction

Hey dear friends, how you? Hope fine 😊.. It's always an honor posting in this Blockchain and today I will be posting by sharing my experience with the zoo which I had the opportunity to visit some few days backward when I travel to Yaounde for a friendly football encounter.

For this post, I will mostly be focused on the environment and the surroundings of the zoo by sharing and showing you guys how this zoo is so beautiful and a good touristic site to pay a visit. Then in my next post, I will sharing by showing y'all the various species of animals, trees and birds that are found inside this zoo

Welcome to Mvog-Betsi Zoo Botanical Garden located in Yaounde which is the capital city of Cameroon.

This place is located at a tragic area which is well known by the entire population and people constantly visit this zoo everyday because of the good story behind the zoo. The zoo has rules and regulations. Entering there is not for free. There are different fixed prizes to pay before entering there and I will bw showing it In a photo below 👇

All payments here are in FCFA and can be converted to steem where 1 STEEM = 121 FCFA at 0.21 current STEEM value

They are also strict rules and regulations inside the zoo which should be well respected so as not to cause any alarm. Some people always love to feed animals, provoc animals or thraw objects at animals. All this things are restricted in the mvog-Betsi Zoo

This zoo is extremely very large, covering about 4 hectares of land and going round the zoo can take you time. However, there are horses 🐴🐎 inside the zoo that can take you round if you don't wish to walk on your feet 🐾.

Outside the zoo, it's surrounded by many hotels, restaurants, business centers, schools and roads which makes the place to be located in a very strategic area.

Inside the zoo, there is also a section for children which they can host their parties such as birthdays, graduations and and other parties. They are various things inside which can keep the children well entertained

Like I said, the zoo is extremely very big and widely Open inside which makes the species inside to live very comfortable. The only animals inside that are free which are not locked up inside a cage are the young monkeys🐒. They are very free inside the zoo premises because it's believe that they can't live their family to jump out of the zoo since they are still very young

Inside the Zoo, they are several cages which contains a variety of different species. I will be sharing about the different species of animals, plants and birds in my next post.

They are also so many roads inside the zoo which you can be confused if you haven't been there before. The place is really a place to visit, all it's workers are very welcoming and hostile. When you are news to the place, one or two workers there will accompany you round the zoo and show you all the various species of animals, plants, trees and birds.

The opening days in this zoo is from Mondays to Sartudays and the time is always from 9am to 6pm.. it is not open only on Sundays which is the day the workers are taking a break and the day they usually bring in different species to this zoo if any is available.

Conclusion

I hope you have enjoyed the natural environment and atmosphere of the Mvog-Betsi Zoo Botanical Garden.
