The Feeling !!!

Steem greetings all the way from the motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog. It’s another day on the platform and I’m going to talk about “feelings”.

We often wake up from bed with different feelings and our mind boggling especially those of us living in a crisis zone. You are drowned with mixed emotions and lots of doubts if you will make it through the next day.

Each day passes by, and you keep hoping that one day things will be better and God will conquer. But that is not the case, each day you are left with that feeling that one day the crisis will be resolved but each party to the conflict is not willing to give up.

It is one restriction to another as the civilians not actively participating in the conflict are not considered. The government banned the movement of motorbikes from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and the separatist fighters banned the movement of motor vehicles and taxis from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

At times we are stuck between government actions and separatist fighters' actions. This goes with the adage that “…when two elephants are fighting, the grass suffers”.

Some denizens are caught up in smoking and drinking just to keep their minds closed and not think too much. Some have lost their loved ones and nobody even cares about their existence. You can go for days and nobody to check on you if you are still alive.

The only thought in your mind is you should better give up on life because living in such conditions is not different from torturing yourself to death.

Today, I will tell you that wipe away those negative feelings and emotions from your mind and think positively. It might seem impossible to journey through those difficult moments of life but there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
