Hello everyone, and welcome to the beginning of a new week. I hope we all had a good rest over the weekend especially working class. Weekends are special for me as I rest well from the stressful week days activities. Today though a Monday, and working day, was a ghosted town in my city declared by separatists fighters.

I got up from bed late as I had no program for the day but to have good rest. So, I got up at about 10:30am, brush, then wash my face and hands, and entered the kitchen. While in the kitchen I had to prepare for something for us to eat. I made egussi pudding to be eaten with sweet yams. It did not take me long to prepare it as I had boiled yams I’m the refrigerator. While I was preparing it, my husband and the kids were still in bed. By the time I completed, and served the food, they were up and ready to eat. Since we got up late, there was no need for breakfast again.

After we ate, it was already 1:00pm, i took my shower, and equally bath the kids. We watch movies together, and when bored we took cold drinks, and the kids had siesta. When they got up, my daughter brought her books from school, and reminded me of her homework task to be done. I had to read through, and we do it together. It was Mathematics, and french.

We completed the homework tasks within an hour as my daughter is a fast learner. I had to rest again for a while, and anxiously waiting for the soccer games coming up that evening. It was Cameroon Vs Comores. The match started with a lot of enthusiasm from both fans and the players. The charisma was just fantastic, and we were glued on our screen to watch the game. The players arrived the field with dancing 💃🏼. The passion to defend the state could be captured on their faces as they sung the national anthem.

The first half of the game was boring but when Cameroon scored the first goal, their opponents had to wake up. The second half of the game was interesting. We won 2:1 though I was not happy at the end of the game as I had the feelings that the referee was biased towards the Comoros.

After the match, we ate some chips and drank juice. I stayed up for almost 11:30pm, and retired to beds at the same time . That is how my day ended.
