The Diary Game [21/06/2024]// A Day with Mixed Feelings.

Steem greetings @everyone, it's another blessed day and I hope you all are doing well. The day started on good footing though with heavy rains throughout the night till dawn. The weather was a bit chilly, but I could still feel the high temperatures and could not put on anything warm.

Grandpa and Grandma had an appointment at the hospital for a general checkup. The family doctor called them to come for it as he had imported new machines for the scanning in his hospital.

We had to prepare breakfast and warm water for Grandpa. He is on water therapy and drinks hot water every morning and evening before going to bed. We made bread and tea for the rest of the family.

Grandma told us to prepare mashed potatoes and beans with palm oil for lunch. I engaged with the others to prepare the lunch but I did more supervising. In the process of cooking the meal, the gas was finished. When the other kids called Grandpa to inform him gas had finished, his response was that they should look for other means to cook because they wasted gas on boiling water for the bath and frying business things like chips, and peanuts. I had to sacrifice to buy the gas.

The road was slippery due to heavy downpours over two days now. I had to ask the kids to carry the empty bottle while I accompanied them to pay for the gas. When we arrived there, the storekeeper took the empty bottle parked and showed us where to carry the filled bottle of gas.

We bought the gas and took a bike back home because the gas was heavy. We arrived home connected it and completed our cooking.

It was already evening hour and Grandpa and Grandma had not come back. We were all worried and called him and he assured us he was coming back soon. We were to visit the botanical gardens with the kids but could not go because of the heavy downpours and lightning.

We were watching the Austria and Poland game Europa2024. Grandpa came in and my baby just could not allow him to rest. He played with him until both of them felt sleepy.

I saw the way he was so tired and I took the baby. We concluded our day by watching the France versus the Netherlands game. Until my next diary session guys, it is goodnight from my end.
