Steem Cameroon Contest - International friendship day (Cameroon)

This is a call for friendship we have seen in the course of history how real friendships always stand strong in the face of adversaries we look at the friendship between God and the Israelites which stood the test of time in the face of slavery and torment from Egypt, there's also the friendship between the hippopotamus and the little bed. There's always a symbiotic relationship in a real friendship and that must be the basis of all friendships.

What do you know about the day? (Make sure you mention the actual date)

International friendship day was created in the year 1958 on the 30th of July 2024 by the world friendship crusade (WFC) who seek to promote or sick to promote friendship and unite cultures all over the world in one voice and person without any form of disregard or division.

Propose and Draw a Mascot to represent the day.

A friendship mascot is going to be a handshake with a ribbon around and a dove above it it signifying an agreement between 2 parties who want to share resources and engage in one another's activities.

What are the changes you think this day has brought to your community

There are a lot of changes that come as a result of this day being created and it it a handful but I'll just list a few for times sake.

• Promote empathy amongst individuals.
• Reduce the differences between individuals of separate cultures
• Brings individuals together despite cultural divides
• Encourages community gatherings for events to foster new relationships.

The active promoters of this day are;

• Individuals and Organizations.
