Questions and Answers

What do you do to promote steemit and/or its tokens on the steemit platform? (Show some proof if any).

I joined the Steemit platform in the year 2021 pricisely in the month of December, since then I've been able to learn new things. It's awesome how one can grow by the following the right influence, I've earned from steemit so much and the only way to give back or appreciate is by promoting, I tell my friends about steemit at the least opportunity I can get, I would participate in the #burnsteem25 initiative like what I did in this post, also I always make sure to upvote posts of my friends and that of other steemit users..
I intend doing a normal promotion such as carrying out campaign, inviting and teaching people about steemit and distribute flyers about the site. All this will happen in due time as of now I lack the required resources for it.

What initiatives do/can you propose to a newbie on steemit, to help him/her improve and become acquainted much quicker?

To help a newbie (from Cameroon) to grow or improve faster, first I'll ask them to join active communities such as #steemcameroon, #steemitcryptoacademy, #newcomerscommunity. Now the #newcommerscommunity is always there to teach newbies about the steemit community by given them achievement tasks and rating them based on performance, for each task that is well rated the newbie will be asked to do another task, this will keep that newbie on a growing ladder untill the final task is done. Moving from there, the newbie needs to join the #steemitcryptoacademy because I've noticed that most Cameroon Ian newbies on Steemit don't know much about Cryptocurrencies, and since Steemit is a Cryptocurrency based social media platform, it is only right for them to know more about cryptocurrencies. Now after that, the newbie will have to join the #steemcameroon community, here He/She will meet other Cameroonians who are actively participating in contributing to the Steemit platform and will learn how to also make good content from them.

Apart from joining communities, I would advice newbies to be consistent on the platform, making at least 2 posts daily everyday in the #steemcameroon community so that theh stand a chance at receiving booming support.

They'll also need to actively partake in the give and take principles of the platform which is to upvote other posts, and make valuable comments. I'd say upvote because it is a way of giving positive contributions.

Last but not least, I would advice the newbie to not power down for the first 3 months of their stay, and participate in the #club100 criteria, this will help the newbie get more rewards from steemcurators, which means the newbie's reputation will also increase.

What are the advantages (to both the steemit platform and the author) of setting a 100% power up reward on publications?

They advantage of setting 100% rewards on all publications is that;

  • You get to participate in the #club100 without the need of always powering up.
  • It makes it easy to secure your rewards in the Steemit blockchain.
  • Your SP will increase at every reward you get for any post.
  • The problem of selling coins from the STEEM balance would be solved.
  • No more out of Club status for the user, he or she will always be in #club100
Conclusion

Steemit is a home for all who are willing to earn cryptocurrency without any investments. I started out with zero STEEM, but I believed in growth and participated daily, right now I'm at 1000SP, though I still wish to do more.

So I encourage all newbies all around the world to push forward everyday, don't get left behind, make an effort to post daily and follow other great minds in the platform so you learn from them.

Wow 1000sp is not bread and chocolate ooo. You have shown a good description of determination and I encourage you to keep up the good work sir. There's no better way to promote steem than telling your friends and showing them the fruits of your labor too. Thanks for sharing with us

Hello @bongk,

  • For the first question, you answered with no screenshots to back it, and you included in question 1 the answers to the supposing question 2 which you didn't fit into your questions.

  • You also limited your talk to Cameroonian steemians, rather than talking to the entire Steem Cameroon members.

  • For the point of at least 2 post daily, i would advice at least 6 posts weekly across communities on the steemit platform (including their personal blogs).

  • Concerning the power down caution you gave, don't a complete condemnation towards acts of power down for newbies is the best strategy to grow? And they should engage in a 100% power up for at least 3-4 months so that they build up a reputation.

  • Noticing that your advice centers around trying to attract the Steemit team's support, i would like to point out that newbies should focus on building a reputation, the rewards will come when they least expect. Consistency and content quality are what matters most.

  • Your answers to your final question were so brief, i was expecting to get more inside since your publication is considered to appeal to both newbies and old authors.

  • Lastly, you failed to support other entries as outlined amongst the rules.

Overall, your entry was good, thank you for participating.
