Steem Cameroon Contest - My moments in 2023 (My 2023 Diary)

People come and go but moments and memories keeps shinning bright in our heart, as humans we all had moments of last year that were good, bad and ugly in our life and it have created and impression In our heart.
I am here to share with you all about my moments of last year.

Thanks to @steem-cameroon for coming up with this wonderful contest idea. At least it is the perfect way to begin the year with.

Last year I had lost of memories both good and bad ones but here i am today very strong and healthy because it is saud that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and yes I have learned from my past experience to become a better version of myself.

My Good Moment Of 2023

We all know that as humans, we can't stay for long without having joyful times to enjoy ourselves.
One of my good moments of last year was when my father came back from a deadly operation alive, my dad is a soldier and it's his duty to make sure that the citizens of our country is safe.
The insurgency in our country became worse in the year 2020, and my dad was chosen among the soldiers to go for the operation, and he went.

My dad went for the operation and stayed for 3 good year and I tell you it was he'll for my dad as he faced numerous attacks and to the glory of God he come out victorious in all of it.
They was a time my dad call me and I was hearing a gun shot in the background of the call, I was so scared for the life of my father and we all started praying for his life.

We stayed for about 1 lonth without receiving a call from my father and we all became scared because we couldn't communicate with him due to bad network coverage, and I was very joyful to receive a call from my dad that he is coming back home as he has been withdrawn the joy I felt was beyond imagination, I was very happy to see my dad return home safely.
We did a thanksgiving to God for the life of my father, and people came and celebrated with me and my family. I was very happy that day, and this was one of my best moments of last year.

Another good moment of last year, celebrating Christmas with my friends and family members we all know that Christmas is a season of showing love to one another and also a time for sharing and exchanging gifts among ourselves.
I have been away from home for a very long time, so I said to myself it is time for me to go and visit my family, most especially my mum, to have a good time with her.

When I arrived home the reception I received was wonderful infact I was treated like a king in my family, and I was very happy.

I spent good and joyful time with my families as we had fun together, you know the best meal is when uou eat together with your families it's very memorable and i had good time with everyone, because I had time to visit some of my old friends that I haven't seen for a very long time.

We prepared well for the festive season which Christmas celebration was the first and me and my brother kill a goat that we are going to use to commemorate the season, my dad make sure that we prepare the meat very well so that it will be enough for everyone, we did everything as instructed and he was happy.

Reaching the day of Christmas, I really enjoyed myself because I ate different kinds of meals to my satisfaction, and I went and visited some of my family friends to wish them a merry Christmas.

It was a very joyful time for me, and it's considered one of the best moments of last year for me.

As a steeminan having a good phone will help uour blogging easier and i have been suffering for a very long time blogging because my phone was given me different issues, so I double my commitment in the platform wiich regarded me with a brand new phone and yes i was very happy with my achievement because getting a new phone with the little money I earn from this platform made me happy and it became one of the memory of last year.

The Bad

Talking about the and times of last year, I got betrayed by people who I trusted the most humans are unpredictable and it taught me a huge lesson not to be too kind to people because they will end up disappointing you.

One of my important document went missing and the worst is that it went missing when I needed it most, one of my friend told me about about a good paying job that is available but I order for me to be qualified I have to submit one of my documents, and I was very happy because I have it at home and I went to look for it unfortunately I didn't see it.
I was very depressed and devastated and it made me very sad because I have missed a huge opportunity that is my bad experience for last year.

The Ugly

My ugly incident of last year was when I went for Nigerian Navy interview and didn't succeed at the end for everything, it was a very ugly experience for me because I spent a lot of money to reach that level.
It all started early last year when I applied for it and was shortlisted for the examination. I was very happy and I sat for it it and passed with flying colours.

I became one step away from achieving my goal, and I went for the screening / interview phase, where they will be physical and medical screening before the interview.
I did everything and was among the successful ones, but I tell you my time there was hell because I received a lot of punishment for crimes that I didn't commit, but I had to take everything with good faith as I know what I went there for.

They were feeding us with unhealthy food, and we sleep late at night and wake up very early in the morning after all the exercise we were instructed to come back home and wait for the final shortlist but unfortunately my name was not among the successful candidate for training, I was depressed and heart broken but it is said that God have a reason for everything that is happening in our life and we can't question him.

In conclusion it's said that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger so I will proudly say that 2023 was a year to remember for me as I had lots of memories which I habe shared with you guys above.
Even with all the difficulties and challenges faced last year, i am happy to say that it's the best year of my life.
