Hello steemians, here's my entry to the contest organized by @steem-cameroon. It's about Bribery.

What is Bribery?

Bribery refers to the offering, giving, soliciting, or receiving of any item of value as a means of influencing the actions of an individual holding a public or legal duty. ^source

But according to me, Bribery is another form of robbery where the perpetuator of the act gives out a token to gain ascendancy in rank or position in a particular sphere of influence. It can be a school, company, organization etc.

Bribery

Bribery oh bribery!
A system put in place to lead people into robbery,
Gymnastics are made to gain positions they don't deserve,
Muscle cramps may reach out to you if you don't really want to serve.

You brought a goat to gain the manager position, but in the other way you managed to gain the goat position.
Why would you decide to jump to the top when you can actually climb to the top?

The ladder of success is little steps and little results, but you make men burn the ladder to climb with the smoke.
Success gotten in a dubious way will always choke.

A little change in position for a bottle of wine, and you begin to wine and dine with the devil.
Bribery is the only thing which usually link people of different tribes,

The same tribes which fight each other when it comes to other matters, it brings together what hatred put asunder.
I pray by the stripes of honesty and transparency my generation be healed of this cankerworm.
