Hello to all, i was having a discussion with @majerius yesterday morning via WhatsApp and he began to tell me certain things i knew not about. He's such as person when you speak with, he unveils little truths which change your life. Here's a little of what i learnt yesterday morning. Read and be blessed!😁

Anytime you try to add something to scripture, you weaken your faith and trust in God. Why do i say this? Follow me a little closely,

God said don't eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
But Eve added touch and it's that little change in the scripture that led Satan to have access to her mind coz God didn't say that. What did God actually say? Let's check Genesis

Genesis 2:17
[17]But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

You see from here, God clearly makes it clear that you shall not eat. But the devil came and asked if God really said they shouldn't eat of that tree and Eve ignorantly modified what God said which made the devil understand that she knows little of the word given to her by God.

So as she touched and nothing happened, she was later enticed to eat of it. Then give to her husband. And the process just continued.

Don't amend the scripture my friend, our generation has taken this practice of modifying scripture to their own taste on their heads. Infact, the scripture is too Ridgid and not flexible. It is made to change you and not to be changed.

Don't add or subtract anything from scripture dear, take it as it is.🥺🙏🏾
