How to Delegate SP and how to change delegations to an account. | by @benjamin09

Greetings fellow community members of Steem Cameroon. Welcome to this post where I will enlighten some of you on how to delegate SP to an account, and also change the delegated SP to that same account.

In order to be able to delegate to an account here on Steemit, we will need to use our Steemworld tool developed by @steemchiller.
Following this link will send you to the Steemworld page where you will need to sign in.

Once we sign in, we will click dashboard.

From there, we will be taken to the dashboard page of your account. Now, go to the delegations tab on this page and click on delegate as is shown in the following image.

Once we click on delegate, we will need to input the receiver account of the delegations as well as the amount of SP to be delegated to the said account.

And lastly, confirm the transaction with your Steemit Private key.

In order to change the quantity of SP delegated to an account, we will need to be in the delegations tab on the dashboard page of your Steemworld. Then, click on outgoing. This will show the list of all the accounts to which you are currently delegating SP to.

Once we are there, we will no longer need to click delegate but, click edit which is beside the delegatee's account as is shown in the above image.

After that, we will now need to write in the total amount of SP which you want to delegate to the account.

For example, @benjamin09 is currently delegating 200SP to @steem-cameroon but he wishes to change the delegation to 400SP. When he is write the total SP to be delegated in the edit delegations box, he will now write in 400.

This means that, you cannot delegate to thesame account twice. The second delegation to the same account will override the first delegation.

I decided to make this post because I have seen a lot of Cameroonian steemians doing the wrong thing while trying to increase delegations as recommended by the community leaders, so I hope that by reading this post, you may realize your error and do the right thing. I hope this post gets the exposure it deserves and impact our lives here on Steemit.
