Greetings beautiful people. Am glad to be here again in this amazing contest to share with us my best day of the week.

Of course everyday is a good as long as there is life but there are some things that happens in our days that makes them different from others and hence we could say it’s our best day of the week . Mine was a thing to be happy About.
We are enjoined to celebrate with those that celebrate and mourn with those that mourn but today wasn’t a day for mourning rather was a day of joy and to celebrate with the celebrant.

It was my best day of the week because my best friend got married on the 15/12/23. It was a long awaited wedding and I was over joyed it came and was a huge success.
The day started with great anxiety as we began cooking and getting ready for the big day. Some of my friends also came around to join as we celebrate with our friend on her traditional marriage ceremony.

The event started in the evening because of the time taken in doing the traditional marital rites by the two families. It lasted for hours coupled with the fact that the grooms family actually came late for the event.
Finally after all said and done the wedding started and the bride was all glowing in her beautiful native attire.

She came for her first outing and greeted the visitors and danced amidst cheers. Then she proceeded to go for a change of attire for her second outing and wine carrying. She was look all glorious in her beautiful lilac lace. She carried wine, found her hubby and gave him the wine to drink.
They were prayed for by the brides father and then we danced and danced and danced. There was plenty food to eat and drink. It was a fun day and one that calls for celebration as my Best friend was officially Wifed. Was glad to be a part of her big day hence it was my best day of the week.
