"Steem Cameroon Best day Contest - 14/2/24; Valentine’s Day

Greetings everyone and welcome to my blog. Today am writing my best day contest. Am taking us in my day which was 14/2/24 and that was the Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s Day is a day that’s widely celebrated world wide and it was my best day of the week because of the activities that followed suite. I woke up in high spirit on this beautiful day and after my morning routines , I proceeded to make myself breakfast as a way to show love to myself.

You don’t have to wait for people to love you before you can love yourself and we are reminded in the holy Bible to love others as we love ourselves. So aside sharing love with others, I decided not to neglect myself. After my breakfast, I washed up the plates and did some house chores, then I proceeded to the saloon to make my hair.

My hair was rough and needed to be restyled. I spent about and hour plus in the saloon and when I was done, I headed to the meeting I was having wit my mentor and some other persons. The meeting lasted till late in the evening and from there I proceeded to the church for an evening service. We held a special valentines service in church tagged love and hills. It was a beautiful time in Gods presence. When we finished I headed home and I got home very late.

I had to breeze over to my elder brothers home because this day was his wife’s birthday and they held a little celebration for her. I got home but the celebration had finished but there was so much to eat and drink. There was cake, chicken, small chops, jollof rice, fried rice, salad, biscuits and drinks of different types.

I just ate some chicken and cake as dinner. My brother got the wife so many presents including a money bouquet. It was a very special day indeed and I was happy for her. Love is a beautiful thing. We celebrate with our loved ones hoping for our own time to come.
