Introduction into organic skin care products. (organic powders and oils both carrier and essential oils)

• Organic skin care products are the products we use in the formulation of our body creams, lotions, oils and soaps.
  Today we will be looking at the various powders we use in skin care formulation, their uses and the oils as well.

• 1 Vitamin C powder: brightening powder used to achieve glow in formulation.

• 2 Giga white powder: it’s a natural lightening powder that is used in replacing hydroquinon. Helps in treating dark spots and hyperpigmentation.

• 3 Collagen powder: helps to improve skin beauty by increasing skin elasticity.

• 4 Sephi white powder: just like giga white, Sephi white is an excellent lightening powder that treats pigmentation. - 5 Mulberry powder: Hydrated and nourishes the skin.

• 6 Licorice powder and rice powder: these two powders help in deep exfoliation thereby permitting our products to penetrate deep into our skin.

• 7 Alpha Arbutin, kojic acid and kojic dipalmitate are also safe natural brightening powders safe for dark skin.

• 8 Vitamin B3 powder also known as naicinamide helps in clearing dark spots perfectly, evens skin tone, reduce skin coloration such as redness and prevents irritation.

Now we shall be looking at the oils we use in skin care formulation.ESSENTIAL AND CARRIER OILS

Essential oils are natural oil typically obtained by
distillation and having the characteristic odor of the
plant or other source from which it is extracted. They
are distilled from the leaves, bark, roots and other
aromatic portions of a plant. Essential oils evaporate
and have a concentrated aroma.

• Lemongrass oil
• Myrrh
• Frankinsece
• Chamomile
• Rosemary oil
• Bergamont

• Nutmeg oil

• Carrot seed oil
• Sandalwood
• Jasmine
• Yang ylang
• Grapefruit etc.

LIST OF CARRIER OILS ARE:

• Grape seed
• Sweet almond
• Avocado
• Coconut oil
• Olive oil
• Apricot kernel oil
• Borage seed oil
• Evening primerose
• Hazelnut
• Hempseed oil
• Jojoba oil
• Sesame oil
• Peanut oil
