Steem Cameroon Contest - International Day of Charity (Bangladesh)

Not all people in the world can lead the same standard of living. There are many who cannot fulfill the basic rights. The sympathy of the rich towards them and their efforts to help them is charity. Charity is a humanitarian act that reveals human humanity and is able to understand the suffering of the suffering people. I think charity is a great work which creates empathy in people. I invite you @mahmud552 @uzma4882 @azit1980 to participate in this competition.

What do you know about the day? (Make sure you mention the actual date)

International Charity Day is a day of great action. It is a day recognized by the United Nations which is observed on 5 September every year. This day is to highlight the role of charity in alleviating the suffering of the needy in the society and promoting social cohesion. The date was chosen to commemorate the death anniversary of Mother Teresa. Who devoted his life to humanitarian work and helping others. This day is a great day for me because charity is an act that forgets the differences between people and helps people in danger.

Suggest and draw a mascot to represent the day.

Give a brief description of your mascot.

I have noticed that many people want to give charity but do not have the means to reach the right place. The way students and other volunteers collected donations and reached out to the needy during the recent floods in our country is a great change for us. I want everyone to be humanitarian and extend a helping hand to the helpless.

What change do you think this day brought about in your community?

If we recall this day according to the flood situation in Bangladesh recently, it will reach a milestone. About 1 crore people were trapped in water in the recent floods in Bangladesh where all the people of our country donated for them. School students collected charity for the flood affected people in crowded places. I love my great works of Bangladesh. I think this day has brought humanity back in people. Our country has a song line that says "Can't man have a little sympathy for man". People have exposed themselves to the suffering of others.

Who are the active promoters, and what do you think could be added to make more of an impact in your community?

If I consider the primary aspect of this day, the United Nations is its main promoter and encourager. Also in dire straits of a country comes charity from many organizations and other countries that promote charity and build good relations with helping people of a country.

To spread charity more widely we have to be humane so that we can feel the suffering of others in ourselves. We made a charity collection on our own initiative to help the flood victims of Bangladesh. Charity will increase if people are kind to others. Being able to perceive the suffering of others in oneself will have the greatest effect on charity.
