The diarygame 22/11/2020
Kicked away my blanket at 7:30 am; I had some good sleep but I somehow overslept today. I am having a challenge of lack of internet data these days and that’s why I am not so consistent on steemit yet I have the free time to concentrate on commenting, posting, and curating on the various posts. Every month I spend about 60,000ugx ($20) on internet data for my steemit work; It’s quite a challenge now but I know with time this will be resolved and I get more focused and consistent that is when I make a withdraw of some dollars to cater for such costs and other future costs.

Laying that challenge aside, I had my great unique breakfast. I had a local Ugandan meal called ‘katogo’ which was matooke(plantain) mixed with g.nuts, silverfish, sower berries, and number of spices such as royco, green paper, onions and tomatoes. I had never prepared this kind of katogo with such a variety of ingredients and spices. I prepared it under the guidance of one of the friends of mine. It was a very tasty one, will prepare it for myself again some other day.
It has been a very hot day today. It’s a great relief from the rainy season that we are currently experiencing in Uganda. I am walking through plantations every day as I am heading to and from the church. The photo below showcases me walking through a coffee plantation farm as I was heading to the church for the evening prayers.
A cow interestingly came near my house and I had to take a photo of it. So huge and healthy; It made me imagine a time in the future where I will also own some big farm of cows. Sometimes we see certain things in life that provide us with impressions of our desired future state. In Uganda, cows are very much used in paying dowry price.

I had some heavy supper as you see the plate. It was loaded with a mountain of food. It was matooke/plantain, beans, and chicken. It was a yummy one. This was such a big surprise, I did not expect to have chicken today but thank God I had it. The meal was accompanied with a cup of well-spiced black tea.
