SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT
This development tends to add ethical values to one's life. The word Arthropoda means a being that looks up to God. This is still the major source of change unequal to any. Your spiritual development affects your mental and physical development so it is still the most important form of self development.

I was raised in a Christian home. As I was growing up as a youngster. I know that I needed a personal touch, an experience with God hence having a personal relationship with Him. This added some Godly Virtues to me. I developed in Christianity to a stage that I realize that it is way of life. I thereby make it my lifestyle. Whatever you do, crave to develop spiritually and let the ethics of whom you believe in be added to you.

MENTAL DEVELOPMENT
You need to develop your mental faculty to be able to stay relevant. The higher your mentality the higher up the ladder of life you will find yourself. There can be no level ground of discussion or friendship between a secondary school drop out with a PhD holder. Their reasoning will be very different, so will their values. A local tailor may still be in business if he/she shouts at the customers and have a dirty environment. But a tailor that makes dresses for celebrities dare not have such manner. Your manner is determined by your mentality.

Your mentality can be enhanced by the following ways:

Observation
Get to study people who have gone ahead of you in their respective areas of specialization. No champion becomes one by doing one right thing only once, they kept doing right things over and over again. When you keep doing the right thing with right habit you will get the right result. So study champions through their stories in their books or directly if you have a close relationship with them. So many people are foolish today because they refuse to learn. They feel their trainer is wicked, as a result, they feel like escaping. Young people have left home, school or workplace all because they felt they have been unjustly treated and by so doing had missed opportunity to develop mentally.

Thinking
When you think, you reason, you allow your brain to sweat and when it does, it develops. Reasoning is logical, rational and analytical thinking that enables you draw intelligent conclusion on any issue. Then when any issue comes under discussion among your peers, your contribution will be highly respected. So think your way through any issue before speaking.
