Introducing Steem Africa account. We are planning to build gradually

Regards to all steemian and every bonafied member of Steem Africa. Steem Africa has been existing for the past two months and many people have subscribed to the platform. Thanks to everyone that has been posting via the community. You are all appreciated.

Building Steem Africa account

It is very important that people get rewarded for their effort for providing good content on steemit, and this is the main reason of coming up with the idea of having an account for Steem Africa. We are very much determined to make sure we achieve our goal irrespective of what comes our way through the journey. Already, we have the @steemcurator04 account given to us by the steemit team to support contents from Africa, which is so much appreciated, and we have been trying our best to curate as many African posts as possible, though not cutting across as expected especially on the Nigerian side, because they dominate the African sector on steemit. Leaving all responsibilities on the steemit team would not cause rapid growth, therefore, giving a helping hand by engaging in things that would attract people to join the steemit platform is paramount, and one of the key things is rewarding people with the power we own. Building the steemafrica-acct as expected is not something that can be achieved within a short period, but with consistency and hard work, we would achieve our goal in no time.

Do we have plans?

When you fail to plan, then you plan to fail. We have planned on how to go about building our account gradually. We have phases, The first phase would comprise of 50 people with like minds. These set of people are those that would help generate the first 50,000 SP on the platform. That's why we are on the lookout to bring reasonable people into the group. The funny part is that these people are going to be new people introduced to steemit. Yes, we want to build from scratch before we seek help from the existing steemians. We know this journey is not going to be easy, but the truth is if you don't start, you can't finish. We are starting, and we believe we are going to see the light after the tunnel.

The second phase

After the achievement of the first phase, we would start the second phase. By that time, every progress would be doubled, because the establishment is already solid. Another set of 50 people would be groomed and injected into the platform and believe me, they would be much easier to coordinate because the 50 people existing would always work together to achieve a common goal. Remember it was mentioned that every individual in the group must commit to the principles, so there would be a testing period to see if anyone joining would stay. We are also ready to train and support every member of the group the best way we can.

We want to broaden the African horizon

If we want to count the number of African countries on Steemit today, we wouldn't get up to 10, and we have 54 countries in Africa, so where are the rest? Many wouldn't believe the saying that South Africans are the most adopters of cryptocurrency in Africa followed by Nigeria, but how many South Africans do we have on steem? Part of the plan is to navigate and get one person from every African nation. Gradually, the African sphere would expand and our population would be overwhelming.

We also have other plans but' until we are making moves, we don't want to be too bold in our ways. This is just the introduction of @steemafrica-acct. We hope to get support from anyone that believes in us and we would be glad to welcome any determined mind to join the crusade as admin.
