THE DIARY GAME : 20/09/2020 - My Sunday Activities

Today is Sunday we experienced a heavy rainfall from 8:55 am to 10:47am so I missed going to church. The children were eager to go to chapel. But the weather was cool so I decided to stay back home with them. The rain was still drizzling, but my wife was having very important appointment, she was to escort her sister for thanksgiving service at assembly of God chapel so she has no option than to go. I asked her to take umbrella to help her.

Staying with children at home is full of fun, asking questions, making noise and playing. First I helped them to take their bath, the weather was Ok now, let them smear pomade on their body and dressed up. I freed them to play as they wish in the room. After two hours time, their mother came.

I was in the house for few minutes when my Headteacher called that he has returned the course he went to Abetifi in the Eastern region to do. He is was even coming to my house. He arrived while we chatted for some minutes about his journey and studies at Abetifi campus. He thanked for work done during his absence.

He sought permission to leave for his house. I and my children escorted him to the main road. We were returning back home when we stop at the Christ Apostolic Church - Nsuta Central.

My children love "Canna Lily red flowers." As we were coming were found some at the the front view of the Chuch of Christ Central. We dropped for them to make little fun. I took few pictures for them before taking stroll to our house.

Time was moving fast, we had to think what to eat for our super. The sky is now clear, the sun has emerged a little, around 2pm I decided to go to town buy some food item, rice, yam and plantain. We want to eat "fufu" today, one of our favorite food for super. We have already prepared our soup stored in the fridge. I went to Owner's shop and bought "Sofia rice" the price has increased from Ghc 30.00 to Ghc35.00. I proceeded to market and bought the yam and plantain for Ghc 10.00. I then returned home.

As my wife was preparing our super, I had little work to do, such as buying pure water from the nearby shop and storing them in the fridge.

The Cassava and plantain are well cooked to be pounded, my wife washed the mortar and pestle, set the place for pounding. In 15mins time, we finished pounding.

My wife shared the "fufu" let my daughter brought my on the table. My small boy told inform me that he wants to eat with me. I washed his hand and led him begin eating.

When i finished eating, I had other work to finish before i go to bed, writing contest and joining other contests of my friends in Steem. Thanks to everybody who have been visiting my blog and sharing with me.
