They don't care about us so we watch out for ourselves
We allowed things go for far too long, so wrong
We kept quiet in the face of oppression
We took money just to hide our confession
We allowed them throw us into confusion
Suffering and smiling, we lost our will of expression
So many bottled feelings, now we can see aggression
Now they are asking us to protest with discretion
Where was their sense of reason then? It went into oblivion?
We are rich in everything but they took us into recession
Now we are marching in protest in succession
They negotiate with terrorists but won't speak with us - a great transgression
They seem to forget they are public servants and not gods - self-ascension
We want justice and a better government - that's our profession
