My review on the film I watched on 28th August, 2020.

TRIPLE FRONTIER

This morning when they brought the light I put on my TV and searched for interesting movies to watch from our decoder, I searched, until I came across a movie that had already began I didn't knew the title

So after the movie, I went to Google and typed these words " some soldiers went to a house, they discovered money in the walls, they teared the walls and bagged as much money they can carry, even with a full truck they were not satisfied and it caused their helicopter to crash" immediately google gave me the title and I screenshot it😁.

Triple Frontier is a 2019 American action-adventure film directed by J. C. Chandor. Chandor and Mark Boal wrote the screenplay based on a story by Boal. The film stars Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, and Pedro Pascal as a group of former U.S. Army Delta Force soldiers who reunite to plan a heist of a South American crime lord.

What I remembered

Santiago Garcia"Pope" was working as a private military adviser in Colombia where he was combating drug crime. A girl named Yovanna asks for his help with smuggling her and her brother out of the country so that she will give him some information on the place to find a drug lord named Lorea. Yovanna was an information.

Yovanna told Pope that Lorea was living in a safe house in the jungle along with all his money. Pope went home to the States to call his old Delta Force friends for a job to confiscate the money in the disguise of working for the Colombian government: Tom Davis"Redfly", a realtor; William Miller"Ironhead" , a motivational speaker; his brother Ben Miller, a mixed martial arts fighter; and Francisco Morales"Catfish" , a former pilot.

Pope, insisted that they steal the money for them selves and they agreed.
They wanted to do a clean job, so that nobody will see them when they will come for the money, not ebmven lorea guards. Because they didn't want to kill anybody as the operation was completely illegal

After their plan which was to move in when lorea's family is at church. they move in on the house. They quietly incapacitate the guards, without killing any of them, but cannot find Lorea or the money. Pope smells paint and realises that the money is in the walls, pope tear the walls and found the money, they went to other parts of the house and tear the wall, it was fillled with money and the team begin bagging the money.

They realise that there is far more money than they expected and rush to get as much as possible before Lorea's family and guards return. Redfly turns greedy and demands the crew continue loading even when they got a full van and it past the hard stop that he himself had set. This made the rest of them uncomfortable, they finally convince him that they are out of time, and must leave immediately. With the money safely loaded in the truck, they lookedo for Lorea once more.

As they search for Lorea, he ambushed them and shot Ironhead in his stomach side before Pope killed him. As they attend to Ironhead's wounds, several minutes past their getaway time, some guards return. The team take them out easily, burnt down the house, and escape in the van, on their way they drove passed Lorea's family who were returning from church.

They meet up with Yovanna and her brother with about $250 million dollars in the van, and then Ironhead's old friend brought them a private Mi-8MTV-1 transport helicopter, They gave the guy two bags loaded with money. The helicopter was to carry them and their goods to reach their getaway boat that would aid to their escape from South America.

From there, they would transfer the money to an account in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda. Catfish is mentioned that the helicopter cannot hold the weight of all the money at high altitudes as they have to fly over the Andes Mountains in order to make it to the meeting point. Redfly was not willing to leave any money on the runway after they risk their lives to get it he told pope that he was not going to give yovanna and her brother a lift and pope disagree and remembered redfly that they already promised them a lift, so he told Catfish to proceed.

The team took off with the money in a net bag attached under the helicopter(payload). They transport Yovanna and her brother into Peru with her brother. Redfly questions her knowledge of them in a rude manner, because he knows she can link them to the robbery. Before leaving, Pope leaves Yovanna and her brother with a share of the stolen money and visas to Sydney, Australia, and told them to leave South America as soon as possible as it is not safe for them. As the group takes off, an unsatisfied Redfly argues that Yovanna was lying to him but Pope says she knows nothing even when she asked pope for his contact, pope said she can't contact him.

Redfly insinuates that they should have killed her, and Ironhead convince Redfly that doing so would lead to circumstances he would not recover from. Due to greediness, on the money, Redfly becomes more and more willing to break his own rules and do whatever is necessary to escape with the money successfully.

As planned, the crew begin flying over the Andes Mountains. However as they are reaching the helicopter's maximum ceiling, catfish told redfly that the weight is too much and they have to drop some money. Redfly argues otherwise then the helicopter lost some thing and it started to shake due to the cargo load exceeding the maximum weight, after throwing away few bags,they ask catfish if it will do and he said the helicopter can manage the remaining load.

As they were rising to cross the major andre mountain cliff, the helicopter went down with smokes coming from the blade meeting point. Unable to recover from their descent, Catfish urges the team to release the money bag(payload) they tried to pull the lever and it failed, so catfish said it has to be a manual override to allow for a safer crash landing. The team survived the crash landing and exit the helicopter wreck with little or no injuries and quickly move towards the money.

When ben manually droped the netbag of money

which landed in a cocaine farm field village, Redfly and Pope attempt to retrieve the money bag as peaceful as possible, by negotiating with the local farmers and villagers that are seen going through the bags. The wounded Ironhead stands by at the crash scene while Catfish and Ben took position and watched the activity through bushes. Their attempts to peacefully retrieve the money fails due to a heated confrontation, as the farmers mistaken the team as DEA agents and see them as hostile when they noticed the other armed team members in the distance. When one of the angry farmers gets defensive and approaches with a machete, Redfly brings out his pistol and shot him and several others

The other villagers ran back away from the money bag. While Catfish, Ironhead, and William prepare a group of horses to transport the money, Pope and Redfly went to compensate the village elder with some of the stolen money. Upon reaching an agreement, they continue their journey to the meeting point. One village boy confronted redfly, redfly was consoling him until the village elder told him to stay away. The crew later set the horses free once they could not continue the journey with them as catfish horse fell of the mountain with the money gone along with it.

When they reach the top of the mountain, that night ben burnt a dollar to recieve heat as he was cold, he burnt a bundle, they were all laughing. He burnt a bag and they kept warm till morning. As they make their way down, a firefight takes place with two villagers seeking to avenge the deaths of their families. Redfly takes one of them out before being killed by a single shot from the second villager’s rifle. Pope takes out the second shooter and the crew mourn Redfly's death. Then ironhead accused ben that it was because of the fire that they located them, they fought a bit until pope told them that it was the boy from the village, he has been following them for days, waiting for a clean opportunity to kill redfly. Pope urges them on stating that both Redfly's family and they themselves deserve the money at this point. They proceed towards the ocean with the money and Redfly's body.

Ben scouts ahead and reports that their getaway boat is still waiting for them but the village is filled with armed teens waiting for them. While Pope initially argues that they "go through" the armed teens, the others vehemently disagree. They have come to realize they have sacrificed everything they believe in for the money, including their integrity. Pope becomes remorseful of his desire to kill the teenagers and takes it back. Knowing they cannot sneak all the money through the town, they toss the money into a ravine, keeping only what they can carry in their own backpacks. They attempt to quietly make their way through the town to the boat carrying Redfly's body, but are discovered. A car chase ensues and Pope hesitates to kill any more people, instead shooting the tires of the pursuers, causing their car to swerve into the sand. The team makes it to safety in the boat with five million dollars and Redfly's body.

At the offshore account in St. John's, a lawyer provides paperwork disseminating the funds evenly between the four men and Redfly's family trust. However, the guiltfilled men each agree in turn to give their shares to Redfly's family. Afterwards, the team go their separate ways with Pope planning to head to Australia to find Yovanna. Before leaving, Ironhead gives Pope a set of coordinates scribbled on a piece of paper, the location of the ravine in Peru where they left the money behind.
