What is Steem/Steemit

Steemit is a blockchain-based blogging and social media website, which is based on blockchain technology. Steem rewards its users for publishing and curating content with the cryptocurrency. Steem was launched on March 24, 2016; 4 years ago. Steem is a decentralized application, that why will hear of Dapp on this platform. A decentralized application is a computer application that runs on a distributed computing system.
