The diary game: 8th August, 2020 : sanitation is our priority by @andrewkwarteng
Dear diary,today was a goodday.each day that passes I become more greatful for the gift of life.
Sanitation refers to public health conditions related to clean drinking water and adequate treatment and disposal of human excreta and sewage.
Major challenges affecting basic rural sanitation delivery includes lack of planning and coordination of programmes aimed at improving sanitation and this is due to limited staffing and resources for capacity building and implementation of programmes.
So this morning I decide to spray my environment with chemical. I go and collect a friend spraying machine. I mix the chemical with water and put it in the spraying machine and shake it well to mix completely.
After that I put the spraying machine on my back
Then I start to spraying, I use about 1hour 36 minutes to complete the work. It was not easy task but it was successful.
I was covering the spraying machine for the chemical not to come out
I was spraying whiles moving to the place where have not been spray
Poor sanitation is linked to transmission of diseases such as cholera, diarrhoea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid and polio and exacerbates stunting. Poor sanitation reduces human well-being, social and economic development due to impacts such as anxiety, risk of sexual assault, and lost educational opportunities

This reminds me of when there were so many weeds around our house. I had to spray the entire place with weedicides to ensure there were brought down.
I also do believe these things bring about many diseases. They may even serve as breeding sites for the anopheles mosquito. Real commendable work on your part to take action.

That was cool to have an environment sprayed to control the spread of maleria by mosquitos so that we can leave healthy.
