As I started the Day with French Music I will also close it that way - for Wednesday House by @andyjaypowell here comes one of the top electronic dance music acts of the last 20 years - DAFT PUNK - commercially extremely successful - style French House - sure some people might argument it is no House but "only" commercial pop - but it is great dance, great electronic tunes mixed with elements of techno, funk, rock and disco. People love to dance to their tunes across the world! I love them! There first success "Around the World" was one of three titles I always played during my sets and the crowd got crazy! These guys also have been a part (or shall I call it guilty lol!?) of one of my first serious love relationship building the main song for our relationship - sounds silly? It is!

The band (or project) has been founded in Paris exactly 25 years ago by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter and raised to major fame during the 1990s. Apart from their tunes they also are considered as pioneers for their visual stylization and disguises associated with their music - some called them crazy with their ornate helmets and gloves - they wanted to imitate robots during a lot of their performances. They were different and this was good!
