SEC-S10W6 – "You also learn from mistakes"
Greetings to all the community members it's another brighter week for the engagement challenge contest and today it's time for me to kick up this week's engagement here in this noble community with a lovely topic titled “You also learn from mistakes".
What your opinion is about the phrase "you can also learn from mistakes"?
Life has its ups and down, and as humans, we are bound to make mistakes because no one is above it and no one living on this planet has never made mistakes in one way or the other, but one good side of making mistakes is that it helps us to learn from it in other not to make the same mistake twice.
This phase is so true and it makes us to be stronger each day of our lifetime. Life itself is very hard and there is a saying that said no man is a reservoir of knowledge that is to say we learn new things each day both from our past mistakes and beyond so to me I believe making mistakes is normal but once that mistake is repeated more than once then it becomes bad. Because it's expected to learn from it and not continue making the same mistakes all over again.
My experience
I have made several mistakes in life but anytime I realized it, I try as much as I can to make corrections and do better. Today I will share one of my experiences with you all.
The mistake I made back then was to listen to my friend's advice. I was in love with this guy and everything was working smoothly and perfectly for us not until one day my friend told me that she saw him with another woman at the eatery base on her description she told me that she strongly believes they are dating.
I was so worried then I started being insecure with my guy. I always suspect every call he made around me thinking there was another woman in his life. The trust I had for him began to fade away each day and that was the beginning of our issues. And at the end, we broke up because I was so hard on him and the respect I had for him was no longer there.
A few weeks after our breakup I came to find out that he was never cheating on me and I was the only woman in his life. I felt so bad and went back to him to apologize but it was already too late for me. My friend later confess that she was jealous of our relationship and that she lied to me about him and I felt for it without making my findings.
I was so angry with her but the mistake has already been done and there was nothing I can do about it than ask for forgiveness and make things right I tried but it did not work out I believe it happens for a reason and I have learned from it.
That was the mistake I made and since then I have learned never to decide without making findings or proof, also I have learned never to listen to everything people tell me about about someone mostly in relationships.
What advice would you give to people who think that mistakes are failures?
To people out there who feel mistakes are a failure please try to change your mindset about it because mistakes will never be a failure they can only make us stronger and give us the chance to move on and also do better in life. So whenever you make a mistake try as much as you can to work towards it so that the same mistake will not happen again.
Conclusion
In conclusion, mistakes are not failures they can only make us learn and also make amide in those areas we get wrong in life. Life is very simple when we know how to accept our mistakes and make corrections towards it.
