Concurso: Consejos de vida

There are many advises that I heard from many people since I was young but there is one that I heard many times from my grandparents, parents and teachers. Actually there is a lot of truth in this advise and I am also giving this further to others because it definitely works and it makes our life easier. So let’s go to that wisdom and for that we need to go back to my childhood.
That time I was in nursery and I remember we had some tasks from there to read and learn a song. Of course, I read the song but I was too busy with playing and did not learn it but also I did not tell my parents about that. The next day we had our performance and I knew no words from the song and it was really horrible feeling. My heart was racing and I was ashamed I did not want people knew that I just ignored the task. When I arrived home my parents and my granny was asking how it was during the performance I had to tell that I failed because of not knowing the words.
Understandably, they were not happy, but I was surprised that they were not angry. My granny only told me that if there is any tasks that I receive I should do tehm immediately and not to leave for next day, because then it is easier for me but also on next day I do not need to think and worry about anything.
Since then every time when I find that I am becoming lazy to do something, I always tell myself:”Do not put off till tomorrow what you can do today” and simply get it done, every time I remember my grandmother and follow her advise. I also wanted to advise you to get this wisdom and it will help you in your future too.

Muy importante el consejo. Yo pensé que dirías algo relacionado con decir la verdad aunque sepamos que esta puede disgustar a los que la escuchan. Fuiste valiente al decirles a tus padres que habías sido reprobada. Por lo general, estas cosas se ocultan para evitar regaños y castigos.

It is important to say truth and after one had overcome that it is then easier. It is interesting our psychology that we need to deal with our internal battle.I am glad to have that experience in childhood and that is what is helping me nowadays. Thank you for your opinion too :)
