The Power of Hope

Have you ever seen a situation whereby a prey run toward an unknown direction and experienced a dead end. On changing direction, it is faced with a predator that is visibly showing the sign of victory over the prey. Imagine you were in that situation; will you still have hope of living again? This is the situation some people find themselves in and they lose hope instantly. In this article, let’s discuss if it’s essential hope or not.

Hope is the belief that something can still happens out of nowhere. For me, I think that hope is still important in our lives considering the situation we might find ourselves into. Thinking of a highly intellectual being like human beings, there are still ways to maneuver.
What advice would you give to people who are going through a difficult time? |

Even if I am not a counselor or motivational speaker, what I can say is never give up. There is a common slang in my street that read “If you give up, na you fuck up”. Giving up cannot do any good because hope can be found even in the deepest trenches of life. As it is being said, never consider suicide as an option because it is no use.

Yeah, totally agree to the fact that hope is the last thing to be lost. Imagine losing your steeze, confidence and composure on a dire matter, the thing that must not be lost is hope. This feeling will give us assurance that we can overcome any challenges or hurdles of life.

Back in 2022, I was into a program that I thought was a business but it turned out to be a Ponzi scheme. During this so called business travel, I was sent to Nsit Ubium alongside other members of the crew. Things were not perfect there but my departure was something else. Imagine going to a place with people but going back with a friend with no funds. We were just stranded because the people who took us there didn’t want to leave but we (my friend and I) had to go back.
Entering the street with no cash, we had no choice to trek but we might till night fall without reaching the location. We had to ask for free ride but no one responded. It was as if all hope was lost when an Infiniti car pulls over and took us to Uyo. There, we understood the true meaning of NEVER GIVE UP.

If a rapture doesn't take place at this moment, then I will be tagged gone too soon, there is always hope but the case here is that we work towards this hope by faith waiting for our desires to manifest. We can fuck up ourselves by settling for the less. Ponzi scheme come and go but we still survive and we will never go back if they showcase again. Good writeup there👆
