A MEETING BETWEEN STEEMIANS BY @tenguhatanga
INTRODUCTION
Hello lovely steemians from all over the globe. Welcome to another week of the Steemit Engagement Challenge and my entry for the Steem Venezuela’s contest tittle ‘A meeting between Steemians’. Here is my entry below
The 3 meet ups
Steemit is a global platform which makes your connect with people from across the world with different cultures and races. For me it has always been my dream to meet steeminans to enhance our bond and fortunately for me I have had chances to experience that. Within about 2 years on steemit I have met with so many steemians and the memorable ones are as seen below
FIRST MEETING
The first meet up held under the umbrella of Steem Cameroon organized by @yeesja. This was after series of sensitization campaign led by @thegreens to engage active steemians on steemit.

That morning we all left and assembled at the venue at Green Rock Mulang and sound 11:00am the seminar started with prayers led by me. The main aim of the meeting was to enlighten newbies about steemit and the first presenter was @njiatanga, who talked on general awareness of Steemit.

•How to powerup your earnings
•How to save your earnings
•How to make withdrawals

The third and last presenter of the day was @thegreens, he touched and inspired us on the following
•Noo power-down
•The value to save SBD
•How to post and earn big on Steemit
•How to become successful on Steemit
• His plans to o create a Cameroon Steemit bank.

After 10 minutes of me talking and encouraging members to be more active on steemit, the day ended with questions and answers session, prayers general pictures and refreshments. At the end of the day many steemians became more active after the wonderful seminar.

SECOND MEETING
My second amazing meet up was with @bihnadin, @breeze.com and an aspirant to join steemit. As an active member in the #steemAlive community I was given the role as a city coordinator for steemians of steemAlive who are out of Nigeria and most importantly Cameroon. I took up this role and first started with virtual meetings and encouraging members to be more engaging on steemit. About a month later we unanimously accepted to have our first physical meeting in Bambili. On the 18th of May 2021 at 10:00am we meet at the business site of @breeze.com. it was an amawing moment meeting each other after a long virtual chats.

It was indeed an amazing moments meeting each other and bonding more which has helped us in our present relationship and communication
THIRD MEETING
Thirdly, was a meeting @chiabertrand on 20th January 2022. It happened to be an unplanned meeting but it was for the best. On this fateful day I prepared ‘EKWANG’ one of my favorite meals to entertain someone who is like a father to me and same day I decided to cause trouble in our steem Cameroon whatsApp group. I asked anyone who was hungry to come to my house as I had just finished making lunch. It wasn’t lunch time yet but I was done by 11:00am so many people indicated their interest and fortunately Bertrand came. Hahahaaah …. How funny it is right? Food brought us closer. I live at mile 3 Nkwen, Bamenda just opposite the Catholic Church. It was so easy for Bertrand to trace my location.

I was happy he came as I have wanted to meet him as I had observed his activivties on the platform which made me like him. We had our lunch and talked a lot about steemit on the following points
•Recent happenings on steemit
•How to succeed better on steemit
•Some challenges and finding solutions
•Design some action plan which got us in to steem-magazine
Most importantly, this meeting has enhanced my friendship with Bertrand. We now work together assisting each other and other steemians. More to that I see him as my junior brother.
CONCLUSION
I want to thank steem Venezuala for this wonderful contest. This brings to mind many good memories and which I value them so much. One thing I have gained in all these meetings is "ADDED KNOWLEDGE*. I never go back the same way I met my friends. I encourage everyone to have physical meetings as it is important

Wow the first meetop was my most important meetop though I didn't really know most of you personally. But I'm happy I acquired alot of knowledge from the seminar
Hahaha it was really an unplanned meeting because of how you took to trick me knowing fully well that I love food so much. So Yu telling us in the WhatsApp group that you have cooked Ekwang change my program for that day automatically because I always give priority to my food🤣🤣.. chaaaaaiii but Thanks oooh, I really still appreciate that Ekwang because it was super delicious 😋. Please still cook it this days again na🤲🤲🤲. I hope you will give me a positive feedback on this😁

You are right when you say that you never return in the same way, because the learning obtained from these encounters remains.
How good that you have been able to have these experiences that help you motivate yourself and advance in Steemit.

Honestly these meetings have been a source of inspiration and I see a
Steemit in a more positive dimension
There is a saying that people meet at various places and I see you have actually meet great steemians and friends. I have had just a single opportunity to meet up with few steemians and I see you on several occasions with them.
Is like you are mother of all steemians. The smile on their faces indicates you actually made them happy. Thanks for sharing with us you different meet-ups with steemians.
Mother of all steemians you say? Sis I haven't reached that level ooohhh. That one is too high for me but I can get there someday.
For sure people meet at various places and I am always happy meeting a steemian. Did sure I have met so many of them physically, some from a distance like you.i believe we will meet soon

It's been a great journey of steem-cameroon steemians meeting up. I didn't realize there was a meeting that time in mulang because I wasn't that active in the platform and I really did missed out.
But fair enough I'm back and bouncing and I'm hoping for the meeting that was supposed to hold last December but was postponed. I wished they didn't postponed it , I would have really have alot to write about.
Most of the steemians I'm friends with I usually talk with them mostly on WhatsApp and at times coincidentally meets them on different locations.
I'm really free now and hope I can meet you guys all around Bamenda.

Hmmm what could be steemit if we do not meet each other live. When we see each other we talk about the difficulties and ways we could get help.

You have met so many steemians. It is one of the things I have not been able to do as a steemian. I have only long to meet many of them but most of them are far from me so I haven't met them.

Meeting fellow steemians is a wonderful experience and I personally loved all the series of meetings that you guys have had in Cameroon.The meeting helps in training newbies and making steemians in Cameroon to socialize and know each other.
Of course Steemit is a place of great amusement. I am glad to be part of this great family. Let's live the moment.
