Steem Venezuela Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 3 Week 3: Conoce mi Lado Deportivo/ Meet my Sporty Side

Hello my fellow steeminas, it is the 3 weeks of the engagement challenge, today I will be participating in the steem Venezuela community. In this contest, we are asked show our sporty side.

When we talk about sport, there are different types of sports, we have football, baseball, volleyball, basketball, and many others that are interesting to participate in.

As a son of a football lover, it is understanding to know that as a kid whatever we often see is what we want to become, when you talk about sport in the family, and our environment, you can only see football. I grew up beings a football lover as a result of the acceptance of that sport in the environment and also at home, for the love of football in the house my dad and I watched Nigeria Olympics match scheduled at midnight, we had an electricity problem but then that didn't still stop us from watching the match as my dad used his car battery as a source of power to light our black and white television😁.

So this example can say a lot about our passion for sport but football precisely, but unfortunately, my younger ones never went deep into soccer, my second wasn't into any sport at all but my third loves watching football but practices as a boxer. None was like me and my dad we were very passionate about soccer.

Growing up, I could only participate in soccer games, in my environment, football was our thing, every day we play football, and at weekend we play in the morning and evening. So it is inevitable not to love this game

When I was of age, I joined my first team where I train and play with them, my kits were bought by my dad, and for every match we played my dad will always come to watch my performance.

In school I represent my school against other schools during tournaments or inter school sport, I remember our best player at them his name was GBOLAHAN, he plays as a midfielder and I play as a right winger which I still do till now but with a little experience as a striker.

Currently, I play for my town team where I reside, we play as a team and we are sponsored by the king of the town, we train every evening on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturday mornings.

We have participated in several, league game competitions, tournaments, and some gala games, in some of these events we lose, and in some, we emerge as the winner.

Soccer is a game I will play till I can't anymore, currently, I still train and play like a professional, I would have loved to be a professional but I don't want to risk my career on something that is not certain, here in Nigeria, you can't be selected for a national screening without paying some people a huge amount and that doesn't mean you will be picked to represent the country.
