Time is one thing that doesn't wait for anybody, rather we are the ones that wait for it.

Time is of essence in everything we do. It is a factor we can not control. Everyday, we have 24 hours, what we do and how we spend it is entirely our own making.

This contest hosted by @Steem Venezuela will help us to think about what we did with our time when it seems we are not actively engaged in one activity or the other.

The contest tips will be our guide in doing so.

Do you consider that all time should be productive?

I think that all time should be productive. However, we need to understand that the word productive is relative depending on the person. Whatever an individual does and at the end, gains satisfaction in doing so is productive.

Some may look at working to earn or to produce something as productive, while others see their engagement in recreation from which they derive maximum satisfaction as also productive.

So anything we spend our time on, that enhances our life and wellbeing whether in the long run or short run, that time spent is said to be productive.

What do you think of John Lennon's phrase: "Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans"?

This quote have a deep meaning. Many of us have goals about what we want to do or execute at a particular period of time.

However. Why we are making the plans, life goes on as we have to engage in various activities to sustain our life at the moment while we still hold on to our plans.

Thus, we have to live a normal life, eat, work and care for our family and other dependents. These activities are currently what we engage in continuously, keeping ourselves busy to meet up with our plans or goal that are yet to be realized.

So what we do while waiting for our plans to materialize is the real life that we have.

What do you do in everyday situations where you have to wait, a traffic jam, electricity and/or internet interruptions, etc?

Each day, I am faced with several situations that I will need to wait. One of my major problem is electricity. Electricity is not constant where I live. Therefore, while I wait for the electricity to be restored, I use my energy storage device to power my phone. When the power bank finishes, i will look for a place to charge my phone. When the phone is charging, I will have to wait. So I will keep myself busy with household chores, spend more time with my family while waiting.

Our major road is filled with traffic is lights. Therefore I must have to wait when we get to one of them. So, while i wait, I keep myself busy either listening to music from my phone, read some articles from some websites, read articles on steemit or even watch short videos.this way, I don't feel the wait at all.
When internet is not available, I will get some sleep, or engage in discussion with my kids or hubby or whoever that happens to be on hand

Have you decided to have an attitude towards life while you wait, or do you only think about goals to achieve?

To survive in life, we need patience. Patience is a must have quality for everyone alive today. Our aspirations and desires might take longer than necessary to be achieved, sometimes it totally eludes us. So having patience and high-minded positive attitude is essential to survive.

When goals become unreachable, we need to review and assess how realistic it is. If it is not realistic, let it go and direct our energy on things that are realistic.

We should learn to live one day at a time, leave tomorrow for tomorrow. That will give us better health and more happiness.

Conclusion

While waiting, it is important that we occupy ourselves with something. This will make the waiting time worthwhile. Time waits for no none but we wait for time. Hence, keep busy while waiting, be happy!
