Quise traer a colación este tema, porque me han asignado una tarea en la universidad dónde tengo que hacer un pequeño discurso que deje un mensaje. Ya que me gusta mucho el maquillaje y la belleza quise hablar de la verdadera esencia y belleza que tenemos.

I wanted to bring up this topic, because I have been assigned a homework in college where I have to make a little speech that leaves a message. Since I love makeup and beauty, I wanted to talk about the true essence and beauty that we have.

¿Hoy quiero preguntarte si alguna vez te sentiste inconforme o inseguro con tu aspecto físico?

Today I want to ask you if you have ever felt dissatisfied or insecure about your physical appearance?

Creo que muchos de nosotros hemos sentido eso alguna vez, porque cada día son más los estándares de belleza que impone la sociedad.

El aspecto físico es fundamental, porque como lucimos es lo que transmitimos, ¿pero es realmente importante?
Debo decir que sí es importante porque cualquiera reacciona positivamente a la belleza pero no es lo más significativo a cuidar, debemos saber que la belleza comienza desde el interior y es lo debemos aprender a cultivar principalmente.

I think many of us have felt that at some time, because every day there are more and more beauty standards imposed by society.

Physical appearance is fundamental, because how we look is what we transmit, but is it really important?
I must say that it is important because anyone reacts positively to beauty but it is not the most important thing to take care of, we must know that beauty starts from the inside and that is what we must learn to cultivate mainly.

Hay cosas que no se pueden cambiar, pero podemos corregir o resaltar.

Yo considero que la belleza es seguridad. De nada sirve que nos arreglemos, maquillemos, si no tenemos actitud ni seguridad. Y por supuesto, estas vienen desde adentro. Siempre que seamos seguros luciremos fantásticos.

I believe that beauty is confidence. There's no point in dressing up, putting on make-up, if we don't have attitude and confidence. And of course, these come from within. As long as we are confident we will look fantastic.

Actitud, es saber sacar partido de lo que somos y tenemos, debemos superar todas esas características que nos imponen dificultades en nuestra vida, corregir aquello que nos genera inseguridad porque esto nos dará una actitud más positiva hacia los demás.

Attitude is knowing how to take advantage of what we are and what we have, we must overcome all those characteristics that impose difficulties in our lives, correcting that which generates insecurity because this will give us a more positive attitude towards others.

Hay una belleza interior, y esta es la que acaba marcándote, si eres honrado, tienes carisma, inteligencia y muchas cualidades más.

There is an inner beauty, and this is the one that ends up marking you, if you are honest, have charisma, intelligence and many other qualities.

De hecho el querer lucir bien viene desde adentro, porque debemos cuidarnos y cuidarnos significa alimentarnos saludablemente, hacer actividad física, tomar agua, proteger nuestro cuerpo, cuidar el rostro. Todo esto es esencial para el buen funcionamiento del cuerpo y nuestra mente.
Recuerda que no hay nadie igual a ti, eres único. Trata de apreciar y valorarte tal y como eres, porque así como te veas a ti mismo construirás tu autoestima.
