SEC-S5:W3 – The Diary Game: Thank you

Greetings to everyone on the steemit platform, I hope we all doing well by the grace of God Almighty. It is a pleasure to be participating in the Steem Venezuela engagement challenge again, this week’s challenge is also quite interesting and easy one I must say.

We all have something to give thanks to everyday, our lives first and foremost is worth being thankful to everyday. Then comes our health next, one of the most precious things a person can ask for is good health, although this is seem to be an underrated thing to consider. Our love ones, friends, food and water, just to mention a few are things we must be grateful for every single day of our lives. Realizing how precious these are to us as people would really get us knowing how fortunate we to have them and therefore giving thanks for them is a must.

My diary I’ll like to share is a graduation ceremony that was held to celebrate and also give thanks to the Lord for a successful journey of our siblings through their Quran and religion studies. The event was held two days ago in my area, and I’ll like to share the experience with you all in the steemit platform as I was more than grateful that my own brother was part of the ceremony too.

It was a very special day on that Sunday, we were all happy for the grandaunts and especially for my brother too. Two to three years of studies and they’ve finally come to a successful end it, I really deserved a celebration. Families gathered to commemorate the event, I had friends invited to help celebrate the great success and the other families of the other students had their visitors as well to celebrate their ward’s success. We all gathered at mosque that morning for the event to take place, you could tell it was really special just from the dressings of the people and crowd.

The occasion went on smoothly to the very last end, we got some lessons learnt from the speeches of the honorable guest who chaired the occasion. The success of the kids was really an important that we needed to give thanks to they said, and also still encourage those after them to put on the hard work and seriousness to also achieve this great success.

I can say I was most happy of the people, it was delight seeing and having my own brother part of the graduant sudents, the whole family was proud of him. We couldn’t be much happier that day. The event was climax with an even better unpredictable guest, a nice cool rainfall. Just what we needed to cool down the hot temperatures of the dry season.
