Aunque no soy de Venezuela, pude entender los detalles del concurso usando el traductor de Google y el tema del concurso parecía interesante dejarlo ir y también considerando el hecho de que @anasueleidy me invitó aquí.

HISTORIA
Nunca supe lo que era el verdadero amor hasta que conocí a Temi. Es posible que se pregunten quién es Temi, Temi es mi primer y único novio, podríamos estar en un centro comercial ese fatídico día. Although I am not from Venezuela, I was able to understand the contest details by using google translator and the contest topic seemed interesting to let go and also considering the fact that @anasueleidy invited me here.

So, I will be writing in English but will be using the google translator to translate it to Spanish to align with the community and I hope I am not going against the rules of the community. To participate in this contest here is the link

STORY
I never knew what true love was until I met Temi. You guys might be wondering who Temi is, Temi is my first and only boyfriend, we might in a shopping mall on that fateful day. I and my three girlfriends decided to go out and spoil ourselves since it was February 14 and as singles ladies, we just didn't have anyone to come to take us out.

We were actually not bothered since we were used to our singlehood and moreover, we were used to spending every Valentine's day together. Temi, on the other hand, came with 4 of his guys to pick a cake they ordered for his birthday but surprisingly, the cake baker wasn't through with the cake so they were offered to seat and wait.

While I and my girlfriends entered the mall looking for a convenient seat to take and happily laughing at a joke I cracked while we were in the car, I never took notice of the five guys sitting in front of the seat we actually picked for ourselves. I wasn't there for man-hunting, I was there to have fun and fun was what I wanted.

Unfortunately, my silly girlfriends took notice of the guys and actually caught one staring at me intensely while I was trying to give my order to the waitress who decided to come and take our order. I actually wasn't interested in what they were saying since I knew they were talking about the guys sitting in front of us. I tried to concentrate on eating my food and also do my blogging because that's what gives me joy more but they wouldn't let me be with their chit-chat about guys (actually normal ladies gossip).

While trying to work online, I sensed their prompt calmness and silence all of a sudden and decided to raise my head to find out what actually is the cause of this, lo and behold, my eyes came in contact with blue eyes staring right back at me. I felt goosebumps all over my body and tried to avert my eyes from him since I noticed other girls gawking at him. I got angry the more when my girlfriend won't stop gawking until he was out of sight.

They continued their chit-chat of having caught him staring at him but I warned them never to say that again because I just wasn't interested in anybody.

We went ahead to order for ore ice-cream since it was our favorite when I saw Temi and three of his guys walking to our seat. I called the attention of my girlfriends and they immediately comported themselves while they waited for their approach.

The guys got to our seat and immediately introduced themselves, we introduced ourselves as courtesy demands and without wasting time, Temi took the lead by saying he was inviting us to his birthday, I immediately told him, we were not interested but my friends beat me to it by saying we were all less busy and wouldn't mind attending.

Being the stubborn girl, I refused to follow them even though my friends tried to convince me that it was actually a harmless invite. My friends gave up trying to talk me out of my decisions and decided to follow the guys which I gave them my blessings to do that.

Thinking of what next to do with me, I did not notice Temi left the others and decided to come to talk to me. checking my phone to see another update from the blogging sites I was into, I heard someone whisper my name. Evelyn, He said, I will deeply appreciate it if you come to my birthday, I am not evil and will do you no harm, I promise Temi said. I just couldn't say no, after much talk and pleading, so I decided to go.

Getting to the house, Temi wouldn't let me out of his sight as he kept holding my hands even when I struggle to get out of his grip. I just wasn't a social person. I am more of an indoor and never go to gatherings that are too crowded. To make matters worse, my friends were nowhere to be found as they were enjoying themselves and I didn't want to look for them or disturb them because I was already feeling the need to get out of that place.

Temi was able to read my body language and decide to help me by taking me out to take some fresh air. I was so glad he did and without realizing it, we began to chat like we've known each other for a number of years. We had so much in common and also disagreed about a lot of things. After the birthday, we exchanged numbers and we said our goodbyes. We started chatting and when I got home, he called. We talked before I decided to go and sleep.

Three months passed and I and Temi became best of friends. We chatted with each other, joked a lot, called each other, went out but never said anything to each other about our feelings.

Things were going smoothly day by day and my love for Temi and his simplicity was increasing but being a lady, it was wrong to take the first move in a relationship, so I kept my cool and always gisted him about the guys that were always disturbing me. We would laugh at things randomly and rebuke each other for things we did badly.

This continued, with known of us saying anything to each other but one day, Temi called me and asked me to prepare that he was coming to pick me for a date. I wore my best dress and did no make-up even though my friends wanted to force me, just wasn't a person of make-up and waited for him.

He picked me up and we went to one of the eateries. After placing an order and we started chatting and laughing, and so he said, Evelyn, I love you, and will love to spend the rest of my life loving you only if you will accept to be my lover? I just couldn't say anything because I was so excited.

I finally answered Yes to his proposal and since that day, Temi has been the best thing that has ever happened to me.
