SEC-S7W2 – Schedule of my special celebrations of 2023

in Steem Venezuela2 years ago (edited)
That's very true! This year is going to be crucial for me as I have been waiting to return to my workplace and start my activities in a normal way. However, I am fully engaged with this wonderful website, Steemit, so I will still be as connected as I am right now.

Here are my projected programs for the years 2023-

26th January

There are not too many days left in January, so I have nothing much to do but stay busy on Steemit. I will definitely take part in the 26th January Day Parade at Janpath, whenever I am in India and see what is new on the display. After all, this is one of the proudest days for us Indians, when we celebrate the adoption of India’s constitution and the country’s transition to a republic on January 26, 1950. We spend a few hours watching the celebrations marking the day, which feature spectacular military and cultural pageantry, and we invite heads of state from different countries to witness this grand day.

14th February

February is my special month, and the 14th of February is Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s Day means "the day of lovers." We express our love on this day, but it is also a special occasion for the two of us because we were married on February 15th, so this kind of two-in-one celebration is for us. On this day, with the help of simple ideas, we bring back the lost sweetness in our love and, at the same time, strengthen our relationship.

)
Valentine’s Week is not far off when lovers will be expressing their love to each other. Valentine’s Day makes this day even more special. We plan a special trip during the day to make our Valentine’s Day memorable. There are many places around our home where we go each year.

February is the month of love. Every year on February 14, Valentine’s Day is celebrated. Valentine’s Day is the day of lovers. The test of love begins a week in advance. In this test, the lovers have to make various efforts to win each other’s love.

Every couple wants to celebrate this whole week in a special way so that their partner remains in love with beautiful memories of Valentine’s Day throughout the year. By the way, on Valentine’s Day, we spend time with each other. But due to the coronavirus, we have been celebrating Valentine’s Day at home for the last two years.

It is very important for us to make special decorations for the house on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. With the decoration of the house, we can create a romantic atmosphere on Valentine’s Day, which both of us will be happy to see.

Scented candles add to the decor. So we decorate the candles at the door of the house. Sometimes we use candles for dinner to create an atmosphere of candlelight and stay safe.

March 2nd week

A meeting with my director because I have plans to go back to Australia in April. So the day is approaching fast when I will be back at my workplace in Australia.

As you know, I was jobless for the last two years and did not want to work for lesser money so I started online writing. So when I asked my boss about the salary for the new contract.

When I met him in last month his answer was, "Now the salaries are given very favorably in the offices."

But yes, as my posting is in Australia, the salary may vary a lot depending on the location. I guess I will have to make my point properly. I also wanted to tell you that this is very important for the company, and for this, I waited for two years. Then I did a lot of work for the company and made a lot of profit for them.

Some times are difficult for me, even then I focused only on positive things. In the meantime, I have also worked on Steemit and increased my ability and efficiency by taking new training about my work, so I know that I am going to get a good package.

April 9th- Easter

As you know, for Christians in my part of the world, Easter is the most important occasion of the year, almost as important as Christmas. We spend time with our loved ones and take a few days off work to overindulge in chocolate and confectionery at some randomly appointed time at the beginning of spring. Or is it the middle? Who knows?

So, what is actually going on with Easter? Let’s answer all the questions you’ve ever had about Easter but were too afraid to ask.

22nd May - My birthday month!

IMG_20181024_122424 - Copy (2).jpg

All the struggles,

all the pain, all the lessons,

and all the growth in my life.

With all of your prayers, I pray

This year is going to be the best for me!

I am happy.

that today is my birthday.

Yes, I am happy.

But at the same time,

I am feeling bad

one more year

is gone from my life.

God has given us the gift of life.

the gift of living well!

As long as I live,

I will fulfill my dreams.

I must return some of it.

to the world

that I received.

What should I write about on my birthday?

Birthdays come and go.

Only our good deeds are remembered.

What if I could give anything to someone?

It’s all about saying a few words.

with a smile.

October 31st, Halloween

Halloween celebration continues to grow in Australia. Everything is attended by people dressed in very vampire costumes to reflect the Halloween theme. The funny thing is that some people organize parties based on ghost themes and create such an atmosphere as if you are in the midst of ghosts.

The children enjoy themselves a lot, and there is a flood of chocolates and sweets. Tours and excursions are popular during this time of year. Now even Australians are participating in trick-or-treating, which involves organized groups of parents and their neighbors’ children. But yes, the custom of raining eggs or tomatoes has not come here yet.

IMG-20221031-WA0013.jpg

Here, the houses are decorated according to the Halloween theme. Decorations include fake spider webs, jack-o’-lanterns, and images of black cats or witches. Halloween-themed decorations are in vogue this time around. Just last week, I wrote a post on Steemit, which you can see here-

Halloween is not a public holiday in Australia as Halloween was not very popular in the country, but now the occasion has become popular throughout the country. Now almost all Australians celebrate Halloween. Although the origins of this festival can be traced back to the Celtic harvest festival, Halloween is also known as All Hallows’ Eve, in honor of the departed souls.

14th, November

This is my wife’s birthday, and as I have promised my wife, we have planned to go to Jervis Bay in NSW, Australia, where we spent a few days during summer vacation in 2020 and where we always wanted to come back. However, the dreaded pandemic forced us to leave the country, and I was laid off.

There’s so much to do on the beaches of the Pacific Coast, especially in Davis Bay. If I get a posting in Sydney again, what breathtaking views will I see on the way, from horse and cow pastures that stretch for many kilometres to tall farms and gardens surrounded by lush greenery to kangaroos and national parks, and then spectacular The road leading to the shores of the beaches takes you to Dreamland.

And we definitely will visit dolphins and whales on the Jervis Bay trip. Our program may be a day longer than our last trip. In four days, we will visit the Central Coast—Port Stephens, Coffs Harbour, and Byron Bay—that we missed on our last trip and, of course, the nearby beaches. Here I am showing you some images from my last trip. Our trip will definitely consist of the famous trip to see whales and dolphins.

I would probably book the same house I booked through Airbnb. That was a nice place facing the Pacific Ocean.

25th December Christmas

Then there’s December 25th, and we’ll be celebrating our summer vacations from December 23rd to January 6th, celebrating Christmas with friends scattered across Australia, and then taking a long drive in a caravan in the Blue Mountains in New South Wales.

Originally from the state of Goa in India, I live mostly in Australia or in the ACT. I fell in love with this country when I was first posted here in 2010 by my company. And I was so happy here that, although I kept going back to my country in between, when I had to decide to go back in 2021, I was very sad.

Apart from managing my company here, I have also done a lot of walking in Australia as a writer, traveler, and backpacker. I haven’t seen as good biking and walking paths anywhere else as I saw here. People here are very fond of traveling, and I now feel like one of them. I have fallen in love with them.

I hardly need to tell you that every city in Australia is full of Christmas lights, Christmas trees, and music! You may not be that religious, but this holiday season, you can meet and find people from anywhere. After all, Australia has citizens from 80 countries who live here, and everyone celebrates Christmas with great enthusiasm, irrespective of what religion they follow.

So, believe me, you must be spending Christmas with friends in Australia. And here are many ways to celebrate the festival, and some of them will surprise you.

Believe me, celebrating Christmas Eve is the same as in other countries, but in Australia, spending Christmas day with friends is a unique experience. Attending church on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day is a unique experience, and since the population is very small, you can go to church without a large crowd.

Food

As elsewhere, Australians also celebrate Christmas Day by enjoying Christmas lunch or dinner with close family and friends. Christmas in Australia falls during the summer, but people enjoy roast turkey, hot sides, and rich Christmas pudding on this day.

The funniest thing is that every guest comes to your house with a bottle of drink and a dish made by themselves, so you don’t have to work hard in the kitchen; simply organize your beer stock in a small way. After all, it is the peak of summer, isn’t it?
Gifts

Like in other countries, the practice of giving gifts is very prevalent in Australia, and people give gifts even if a hat falls. Christmas is a festival of gifts. So, are you prepared with your gifts? And yes, here too, the trend of a "secret Santa" is also in full swing.

Special Note: We celebrate Christmas and all other festivals in Australia. As we celebrate Christmas, we also celebrate EID, Diwali, Halloween, Easter, and the Chinese New Year. That’s right, there is no specific religious festival associated with any community, but all festivals are celebrated in the company of everyone, regardless of where they come from or what religious faith they practice.

You can call it lucky ,but in fact I have studied for 23 years for obtaining my bachelors in engineering and masters in management and did a lot of planning to reach where I am or what I achieved. By the way, I am unemployed for last 21 months and I don't consider myself lucky in this case. My best wishes to you for your ventures.

Ok sorry I called you lucky, I should call you the unlucky right. That's why after doing much study and hard work you are still unemployed for last 21 months?

Because Pandemic caused my lay off and I did not want to join any job for a lesser salary. I will be back in my old contract probably in April and join either at Bangalore or Sydney depending on situation at that time.

Ok, I wish the best for you🙂.
