SEC-S10W2 – Happy Stories

Hello friends, it is another day here. My third entry for the week and I'm liking my active status now, especially the free time I have now to participate in the ongoing SEC S10. For the week in view, I will be making my entry as clear as possible for all comprehension.

My new family and siblings are my family and these are the people I will be discussing today. These are people I have created more memories with and have pictorials to show for.

There are different scenarios created which I believe were a handful for us during the vacation. The first was a holiday vacation to an old eastern regional state in my country. This was a period when school was on holiday and we all decided to take a tour outside the city.

On getting there, it also happened that my mom was in the same area. This made it so fun at that time. May her soul rest in peace 😭. Anyway, back to my storyline,
during that period, it was easy for the children to blend and play as much as they want.

Grandma was there to give them all the required attention and tolerance they needed. The house was a playground for them so far Grandma was there for them.

Another interesting one was another vacation spent in my hometown (villa). This was another great moment that was shared. At this time it was with Dad, but my children's grandpa. It was another holiday and it was Grandpa's moment to be with. It was really a joyous moment.

The children had enough playground to themselves with the cool and serene environment filled with leafy vegetation with emitted fresh oxygen. It was a great moment,

We discussed at length several issues with Dad/grandpa. He was so inquisitive to know and catch up with what has been going in with everyone. This time isn't about phone or video calls. He was live with us and wanted to know to the last what has been going on with everyone's lives.

Funnily, my kid sister also came around to keep me company in the villa. She came with her own children which also added color and fun to the visitation. My children also had more fun seeing their cousins. In fact, it was a general topic as we all shared our individual or family stories so far with one another.

Another side attraction and the amazing act was the daily gathering of children in the compound who always visit to play with my children. They want to play with them and as well with their toys which they found interesting.

Visiting the villa during such a mini-festive period was dear to me. Dad/grandpa needed such a visit so as to also change the environment and stay with people he hasn't seen for a while. This visit was also dear to him as he kept appreciating the individual effort of everyone even when we went back to base.

Also remembering the memories of the children's fun and attachment to their fellow children in the villa also drive some goosebumps in me because I could see their affection for them without any form of segregation.

Good memories are ways to reflect on those things we cherish most and derive happiness from. Every memory shared was worth remembering and kept for the joyous moment it brings.

We are the only ones who can give ourselves the desired happiness needed. Depending on others or third parties to help us enjoy the needed happiness would only become a flop most times. However, since we are givers of this state of emotion, we have to live up to expectations and consciously towards this.

Happiness is a state of positive emotional status. That moment we feel good about most things around us. A time that we are at our best in becoming our brother's keeper.

I was able to make visits and travels at different times to seek this happiness just as I did during the holidays. Visiting siblings, parents and others are the best ways to drive the happiness index.
