PERSISTENTE

Cada día das lo mejor de ti,
una persistencia que no se acaba,
luchando contra el frío y la lluvia,
aunque las semanas no paren.

De todos los momentos un aprendizaje,
las cosas que te pasan no son casualidades,
son las consecuencias de tus acciones,
un pacto con lo inevitable.

Te mantienes firme ante las tormentas,
con tus metas fijas sin que se muevan,
esa es la cualidad que más te identifica,
y que a mis ojos mas ilumina,
eres el complemento que mi vida necesita.

Every day you give your best,
a persistence that never ends,
fighting against the cold and the rain,
even though the weeks don't stop.

From every moment a learning experience,
the things that happen to you are not coincidences,
they are the consequences of your actions,
a pact with the inevitable.

You stand firm in the face of storms,
with your goals fixed and unshaken,
that is the quality that most identifies you,
and that in my eyes most illuminates,
you are the complement that my life needs.
