My Actifit Report Card: April 28 2024
It was a beautiful day to be outdoors and enjoying Mother Nature and all her wonders.
We skipped our normal morning miles and instead got an earlier start over in Granite Basin for a few miles on the quiet trails there.
There were only a few cars in the parking lot and we were alone on our route which was very nice.
Lulu was moving along nicely with just a few pauses when she spotted some critters off in the trees and a stop for a sip in one of the remaining wet spots.
It was nice to be in the cooler hills with the ground still being a little bit damp from the prior rains (although the forest didn't have that wonderful wet pine smell that you get back in New England).
A bit over three and a half miles before finishing up at the pretty little lake sitting below Granite Mountain where I relaxed and Lulu had some fun in the water before heading back home.
I went out for another few easy miles late in the afternoon to add a few more steps to my daily total. It was nice to see some of my doggy friends and a couple of beautiful horses as I wrapped up the last weekend in April.
