My Actifit Report Card: April 16 2024
It was a beautiful day for a trip up to Flagstaff for a few hours of doctor visit for Linda and a nice long hike for me.
We had plenty of time for our 2 mile walk and Lulu was more than happy to lead me along on a quick little trip.
It's been a while since I was up to spend time in Flagstaff and the sunny 🌞 day made for a nice hike up onto Mars Mesa via the popular trails.
The first mile was a gradual climb along the wide path to the split where we headed left up onto the steeper trail that climbs up the mesa and eventually will lead to hiker to the famous Lowell Observatory. Today, however, we would only head up another mile or so before branching off onto another trail that wound its way down the hillsides and gullies to join back up with our ascent route and take us down to the city Thorpe Park.
A good hike of over 4 miles that left both Lulu and I nice and tired but it was a great day up in one of our favorite places.
