My Actifit Report Card: December 2 2022
Laos is a landlocked country in South East Asia. It borders Thailand to the north, Cambodia to the east, Vietnam to the south and Burma to the west. It's also the home of one of the world's highest mountains, Mount MT. Luang. Many consider Laos to be one of the world's most devout Buddhist populations. The capital of Laos is Vientiane and its largest city is Luang Prabang. The people of Laos speak Lao and numerous other languages. They're mostly Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and animist. The land is rich in natural resources and has a diverse eco system.
The land consists of highlands and lowlands; however, most of the country is highland. The highlands are fertile and covered with lush forests. The lowlands are less fertile but contain beautiful waterfalls and lakes. Laos has many mountains and peaks reaching up to 4200 meters above sea level. The highest peak is Mt. Fanaleo, which is 4200 meters above sea level. Parts of Laos are also desert or barren ground.
