Dalında intihar ipi ki asılı durdu,
Kırık dalıyla kırpıntı duruyordu,
İnce eldiveni elde sıkılı bulundu.

İri incir ağacı haber verdi durdu,
Kurulmuş saat boşalmış kutusu,
Gölgenin dil uzanmış görüntüsü,
İntihar ettiği besbelli söylüyordu.

Gençti, kaskatı kesilmiş vücudu,
Kaskatı vücut aynasında dondu,
Sarılmış beline gömleğinin kolu,
Cesetsiz ruh, kaderinde bulundu.

Yeşil gözler açık kalmış bulundu,
Ölü göz, asılmanın başlangıç yolu,
Cebinde de tik tak saat çalışıyordu,
Kalp de, kalbe üzüntü koyuyordu.

Baba aynı incir ağaca asılı durdu,
İkiz kardeşi de sırada bekliyordu,
Yüz yıllık bir gelenek şarap koktu,
İri ağaç kurban isteyip duruyordu.

Açık gözün kapalısı uyku muydu?
Göz açık karıncaları mı doyururdu?
Ölüm hak idi ama çok acelesi oldu,
Karıncayı değil, seveni acıya boğdu.
